  • Publication number: 20230398697
Abstract: A flexible force measurement film is provided for detecting a contact force acting on the force measurement film, the force measurement film including a top tier to absorb the contact force; an attachment tier; and a sensor tier including an electrical resistance of the sensor tier that changes as a function of the contact force acting on the force measurement film, the sensor tier configured to provide at least one measurement signal based on the electrical resistance can be tapped.

  • Patent number: 7843691
Abstract: The invention relates to cooling techniques for portable devices such as, for example, mobile telephones. In one implementation, a portable device comprises one or more printed circuit boards (“PCBs”) supporting multiple heat-generating components, an airflow generator adapted to generate an airflow internally in the portable device, and a heat sink element thermally connected to the heat-generating components, wherein the heat sink element is adapted to receive heat from the heat-generating components for dissipation by the airflow.

  • Patent number: 7735023
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implement techniques for navigating user interface elements of a computer program application. A navigation key press of a navigation key is detected, where the navigation key has a group identifier. A selected group of user interface elements associated with the group identifier is identified. Input focus is shifted to a user interface element in the selected group based on the navigation key.

  • Patent number: 7712051
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for navigating user interface elements of a computer program application. In one aspect, a method includes grouping user interface elements of an application into groups based on a hierarchical arrangement of the elements, detecting a navigation key press of a sibling or a parent navigation key, and if it is a sibling navigation key, shifting input focus to a next sibling group in the hierarchy, and if it is a parent navigation key, shifting input focus to a parent group in the hierarchy. In another aspect, a method for navigating editable cells of a table includes detecting a forward or a backward navigation key; if it is a forward navigation key, shifting input focus to a next editable cell of the table; and if it is a backward navigation key, shifting input focus to a previous editable cell of the table.

  • Patent number: 6463263
Abstract: The present invention relates to a communication station (MT; FIGS. 1, 2; FIGS. 3, 4) including a power supply unit (6, 6′, 6″), a core unit (1) connectable to the power supply unit (6, 6′, 6″) and constituted by a mechanically rigid assembly (9-14, 15-1, 15-2, 16-20) of all other electrical units of the communication station except for the power supply unit, and a shell unit (2-6) which houses the core unit (1) and comprises no electrical units of ther communication station. Front and back housings of the shell unit can be exchanged easily, since no electrical connections are necessary to the core unit during the exchange. Thus, differently shaped communication stations can be easily achieved from a variety of differently shaped housings.

  • Patent number: 6122801
Abstract: A hinge mechanism in provided with a first hinge portion, a second hinge portion, and a third hinge portion coupled to said first hinge portion. The third hinge portion includes a first end and a second end. A first axle is coupled to the first end of the third hinge portion. A second axle is coupled and locked to the second end of the third hinge portion. A compressible resilient device is abutted to the second axle. The second hinge portion is coupled to the third hinge portion via the first axle and the second axle. The second axle comprises an engaging member and the third hinge portion comprises a groove, wherein the engaging member mates with the groove.
