  • Publication number: 20210171745
Abstract: The invention relates to an article having a single-layered or multilayered main body having elastic properties, in particular an air spring bellows, a metal-rubber element or a vibration damper. To improve the flame-retardant properties the main body of the article consists of or contains at least one layer D which is constructed from a rubber mixture which is free from halogen-containing flame retardants and contains at least one carbon black having a BET surface area according to DIN-ISO 9277 between 35 and 140 m2/g and an oil absorption number (OAN) according to ISO 4656 between 70 and 140 ml/100 g.

  • Patent number: 10471704
Abstract: A printing sleeve includes a first and radially inward layer having an inner side for directly contacting the outer side of a printing cylinder, and an outer side which is radially opposite the inner side. The first and radially inward layer has a glass fiber reinforced compressible compound such that the glass fibers may absorb the forces that arise in the circumferential direction and/or in the longitudinal direction, and the compressible compound elements may absorb the pressures that arise in the radial direction. In this way, the materials which to date act separately in the base sleeve and the compressible layer are combined in one common layer in which said materials each may perform their function.

  • Publication number: 20170239935
Abstract: The invention relates to a printing sleeve (1) comprising a first, radially inner layer (11) that has an inner side (11a) for making direct contact with the outer side of a printing cylinder (10), and an outer side (11b) which lies radially opposite said inner side (11a); as well as a second, radially outer layer (12) that has an outer side (12b) for forming a printing surface, and an inner side (12a) which lies radially opposite said outer side (12b). Said printing sleeve (1) is characterised in that the outer side (11b) of the first, radially inner layer (11) and the inner side (12a) of the second, radially outer layer (12) lie directly one against the other, and in that said first, radially inner layer (11) is designed to be able to absorb both forces occurring in the circumferential direction (U) and/or longitudinal direction (L), and pressures that arise in the radial direction (R).

  • Publication number: 20140345482
Abstract: A printing form is for use in relief printing, in particular flexographic printing. The printing form is configured as a single or multilayered cylindrical layer structure having at least a first layer having a vulcanizate based on at least one elastomer. The first layer is extruded.

  • Publication number: 20140202348
Abstract: A multilayered structure is for use as one of a printing blanket and a printing plate for relief printing including flexographic printing. The multilayered structure has a first layer including a vulcanizate based on at least one elastomer and at least one further layer adhesively connected to the first layer in such a manner that the first layer is peelable or strippable from the further layer.
