Abstract: A method and device for output of single sheets from a printer employs a driven first roller pair having a conveying nip in which a respective single sheet is transported and deflected from an approximately vertically proceeding conveying path into an approximately horizontal conveying path. A separation element that suppresses a continued conveying of the respective single sheet on a circumferential surface of a lower roller of the roller pair is arranged in a proximity of the circumferential surface of the lower roller. An edge sensor is arranged preceding the roller as viewed in a conveying direction for determining whether single sheets have pushed on top of one another. A discharge brush electrically discharges one side of the single sheet arranged in the conveying path following the roller pair. A deflection device deflects the single sheet emerging from the conveying nip into a substantially horizontal attitude shortly before the conveying nip as viewed in a direction of the conveying path.

Abstract: For the purpose of fixing a capstan fashioned in light weight structure as a hollow cylinder having a perforated generated surface on the shaft stub of a drive motor for a magnetic tape recorder means, the shaft stub being composed of a ceramic material, the capstan has a bearing sleeve. At its end at the motor side, this bearing sleeve forms a guide ring which is narrowly toleranced with respect to the outside diameter of the shaft stub; at its opposite, outer end, it includes a threaded bore for the acceptance of a tensioning nut having an outside thread; and, in the transition region from the guide ring to the threaded bore, it has a tensing or clamping lip which wedges against the shaft stub in rotational-symmetrical fashion when the capstan is mounted on the shaft stub, deforming under the pressure of the tensioning nut.

Abstract: A system for monitoring the paper feed in printing mechanisms and the like, in which reference signals are derived in response to actuation of the feeding means for the paper web and in synchronism with the feed movement thereof, which signals may be compared with supervisory signals generated in response to advancing movement of the paper web, whereby predetermined abnormal relation between the reference and supervisory signals forms a criterion of improper paper advance conditions.
