    Abstract: In order to allow a plurality of stereoscopic image sequences to be represented with comparatively good image quality, a method is provided which comprises the following method steps: i. receiving at least two sequences of multi-colored images in parallel; ii. breaking down each image into the basic colors thereof; iii. parallel processing the parts of an image that have been broken down into the basic colors in at least one respective data channel per basic color; iv. simultaneously displaying all parts of an image that have been broken down into the basic colors, wherein sequentially the images of different image sequences follow each other.
