  • Publication number: 20260197899
Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for providing joint discontinuous reception (DRX) warm-up occasions in mixed carrier aggregation (CA) scenarios in which a user equipment (UE) is communicating with different cells using different radio access technologies (RATs), each associated with a different frequency range (e.g., FR1 and FR2). The UE may identify respective warm-up occasions for each of the RATs that occur in a different DRX cycles. The UE may further modify at least one of the warm-up occasions to provide a joint warm-up occasion during the same DRX cycle to perform tracking loop updates for each of the RATs.

  • Patent number: 12647240
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine a first and second antenna array are active for the UE operating in a full duplex operation mode, where uplink signaling at the UE corresponds to the first antenna array and downlink signaling at the UE corresponds to the second antenna array. The first and second antenna array may be associated with one or more operating parameters of the UE. The UE may select one antenna array of the first or second antenna array to use for both the uplink signaling and the downlink signaling based on a value of the one or more operating parameters of the UE satisfying a first threshold value. The UE may communicate, in the full duplex operation mode, the uplink signaling and the downlink signaling using the selected antenna array.

  • Publication number: 20260143372
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of one or more tracking reference signal (TRS) resources transmitted in one or more cells, wherein the configuration is provided by an over-the-top (OTT) server that is network agnostic. The UE may transition to a radio resource control (RRC) connected state to obtain a measurement of a TRS occasion of the one or more TRS resources occurring before a next-occurring paging occasion (PO) for the UE and after one or more synchronization signal block (SSB) occasions associated with the next-occurring PO. The UE may decode the next-occurring PO based on the measurement of the TRS occasion.

  • Patent number: 12532259
Abstract: A wireless communication device can adaptively perform tracking loop updates for rude wake-up events when operating in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode. In an aspect, the wireless communication device can perform one or more tracking loop updates, such as time tracking loop (TTL) updates and frequency tracking loop (FTL) updates, based on a time difference between a last tracking loop update and a warm-up occasion associated with a rude wake-up event being greater than a threshold. In addition, in response to the time difference being less than or equal to the threshold, the wireless communication device can perform the rude wake-up event without performing the one or more tracking loop updates.
