  • Patent number: 10020142
Abstract: A trippable control system for one or more electrical breaker poles includes a first link pivotable about a first pivot point between first and second positions; a second link pivotable about a pivot axis for connecting to one or more breaker poles, whereby movement of the first link causes the second link to pivot about the pivot axis between a position for opening and a position for closing the breaker pole(s); and a trip mechanism suitable for releasing the first pivot point and for exerting a movement force on the first link to move the first link between the second and third positions when the first link pivots about a second pivot point. Movement of the first link between the second and third positions causes the second link to pivot about the pivot axis between the position for closing the breaker pole(s) and the position for opening the breaker gear.

  • Patent number: 8993908
Abstract: A moving contact-carrying carriage (8) for an electrical cut-off device which comprises several seats (80) arranged for receiving several parallel moving contacts (5A-5C) offset in space, and each of them is associated with a return mechanism (65). The carriage can be coupled with an actuator mechanism (6) of the device. The carriage (8) comprises an insulating support (81) which has parallel seats (80) and a supporting structure (9), surrounding the insulating support (81), for forming a load-absorbing belt therearound. In order to couple the carriage (8) with the actuator mechanism, the supporting structure (9) comprises a connecting part (91) positioned in a front section of the insulating support (81) and passing through the central seat (80) and resting against the central moving contact (5A), on a side opposite to the return mechanism (65), for directly transmitting driving efforts of the actuator mechanism when opening the electrical circuit.

  • Patent number: 8859916
Abstract: An electrical cut-off device provided with a control module associated with at least one cut-off module corresponding to a phase of an electrical network in which the cut-off module includes a set (5) of several moving contacts (5A-C) associated with one pair of fixed contacts. The moving contacts of the set (5) of several moving contacts (5A-C) are parallel and offset with respect to one another in order to stagger, in time, an the approach of the moving contacts with the pair of fixed contacts when closing the electrical circuit.

  • Patent number: 8723627
Abstract: An electrical cut-off device (1) with high electrodynamic resistance in which the fixed contacts (4) and the moving contact (5) are arranged according to an architecture forming a current loop so that the Laplace electromagnetic forces, called compensation forces (Fc), generated by the circulation of the current (I) in the current loop, are oriented in a direction flowing from the inside toward the outside of the current loop, and in which the actuator mechanism (6) is arranged for moving the moving contact (5) inside of the current loop, from its switched-off position to its switched-on position in a direction (Fd) that is identical to the direction of the compensation forces (Fc).
