  • Patent number: 9423618
Abstract: The general field of the invention is that of optical viewing systems comprising a display and a tilted optical plate arranged above this display and forming therewith substantially a dihedron. The system according to the invention comprises means for adjusting the reflection coefficient of the said tilted optical plate along an axis perpendicular to the axis of the dihedron and up to a variable height so as to ensure the total reflection of a first part of the image displayed by the display and the partial reflection of a second part of the image displayed by the display, complementary to the first part. The insertion of optical components between the display and the optical plate makes it possible to modify the distance of the display image reflected by the optical plate.

  • Patent number: 8436825
Abstract: A interaction device includes a touch-sensitive surface which generates input data when the touch-sensitive surface is in contact with an actuator, a frame fixed to a periphery of the touch-sensitive surface, an actuator which generates a reaction force as a function of the input data, and a support to which the actuator is coupled. The frame and the touch-sensitive surface are arranged to form a rigid assembly which has a resonant frequency of a few hundred Hertz. The actuator is directly coupled to the frame to displace the rigid assembly relative to the support, and the resonant frequency of the actuator is substantially equal to the resonant frequency of the rigid assembly.

  • Publication number: 20120327034
Abstract: The general field of the invention is that of optical touch-sensitive systems mounted above areas of display surfaces. The system comprises at least two light sources arranged to produce above a display surface a “luminous layer” covering said surface, a first imager and a second imager the optical fields of which cover the surface. The sources are separate from the imagers. When a first object is situated above the surface, first and second luminous images of said object are captured by the first imager and the second imager, the system including analysis means enabling by triangulation of the known positions of the first and second luminous images, determination of the position of this first object above the display surface. In more elaborate configurations, the system comprises a plurality of sources of illumination and imagers enabling coverage of complex surfaces, enabling “multi-touch” detection or securing the detection functions.

  • Patent number: 8292459
Abstract: The general field of the invention is that of illumination devices compatible with the use of night vision goggles comprising a light intensifier. The device according to the invention comprises a carpet of three types of light-emitting diodes called green diodes, blue diodes and red diodes emitting in three different spectral bands centered respectively on a first wavelength situated in the green, a second wavelength situated in the blue and a third wavelength situated in the red. The device comprises an optical plate disposed above the carpet of diodes, the zones situated above certain of the red diodes comprising an interferential filter whose optical transmission has a cutoff wavelength situated in the red in the vicinity of 630 nanometers, the height of the interferential filter above the diode and the shape of the filter being chosen so as to filter in part the light emitted by the red diode so as to be compatible with the use of night vision goggles.
