  • Patent number: 10434368
Abstract: A method for controlling an electric actuator in an exercise device, comprising: supplying a first load set point (FA, kA) upon a displacement of the load element in a first direction, supplying a second load set point (FB, kB) upon a displacement of the load element in a second direction, and detecting an initial position (M) of the moving part of the electric actuator when the reversal of the movement is detected, computing an end-of-transition position (N) exhibiting a deviation in the second direction relative to the initial position, supplying a transition load set point in the form of a monotonic function of the position of the moving part of the electric actuator or of the load element, said monotonic function varying from the first load set point (FA, kA) to the second load set point (FB, kB) between the initial position (M) and the end-of-transition position (N).

  • Patent number: 9901770
Abstract: Muscle contraction device including: a frame intended to be wedged between a floor surface (30) and an upper structure (29) of a room, the frame including a structure bar forming a circular arc, an upper element attached to a first end of the structure bar and a lower element attached to a second end of the structure bar both intended to cooperate with the upper structure of the room and the floor surface, respectively, a feedback element attached to the frame, a loading element coupled to the feedback element adapted to be pulled by a user (27) toward the inside of the circular arc of the structure bar and to exert on the loading element a feedback force opposing the pulling force of the user.

  • Publication number: 20140315689
Abstract: The invention relates to an exercise device comprising a biasing element intended to be moved by the force of a user, an electric actuator (1) comprising a mobile part, the biasing element being connected to the mobile part and the biasing element being able to move the mobile part, a computer (12) able to generate a control signal for the electric actuator, an acceleration sensor coupled to the mobile part in order to measure the acceleration of the mobile part and to transmit the measured acceleration to the computer (12), the electric actuator being able to exert a force on the biasing element by way of the mobile element in response to the control signal, characterized in that the computer (12) is able to generate the control signal depending on the measured acceleration such that the force exerted by the electric actuator (1) includes a contribution of artificial inertia substantially proportional to the acceleration measured by the acceleration sensor.
