  • Publication number: 20260157601
Abstract: A container for a dosing system, to be positioned in the interior of a dishwasher, comprises a dosing device by which a preparation can be dosed into the interior. The container has at least one chamber for receiving the preparation, and a connection piece on the chamber for connecting to a connection receptacle in the dosing device. The connection piece comprises a main part which has an air chamber for ventilation, and an air chamber wall, wherein a projection is integrally formed on the air chamber wall and has a contact point spaced apart from the air chamber wall for an abutment on the connection receptacle, so that a force acting on the contact point of the projection, when connecting the connection piece and the connection receptacle, generates a bending moment that causes the projection to rotate and an opening to be torn in the air chamber wall.

  • Patent number: 12509809
Abstract: A method and system for setting parameters of a treatment cycle in a household appliance is provided. First a model establishing a relationship between sets of configuration parameter values of achievable treatment performance is obtained. Then a target treatment performance for the treatment cycle is obtained. Values for a subset of a configuration parameter are fixed, the subset comprising at most all configuration parameters but a remaining configuration parameter. Then, a value for the remaining configuration parameter is determined. For this value, a difference between the target treatment performance and an achievable treatment performance predicted by the model using said value is below a predetermined threshold. Finally, the parameters of the treatment cycle, which can be setting parameters of the treatment cycle in the household appliance are output. The parameters comprise the determined value and the fixed values.

  • Patent number: 12251067
Abstract: A method and system remotely controlling a cleaning cycle of a household appliance using transmission of wireless signals is provided. Signals are transmitted between a mobile dispensing device arranged in the household appliance and an electronic device. The method determines the strength of a signal received by the mobile dispensing device. The determined strength is compared to a threshold value. If the determined strength is above the threshold value transmission of wireless signals from the mobile dispensing device to the electronic device is enabled. If the determined strength is below the threshold value transmission of signals from the mobile dispensing device to the electronic device is disabled. When transmission of signals is enabled, a status wireless signal comprising status information about the cleaning cycle is sent to the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20240279861
Abstract: In a method for operating a washing machine, a defined degree of wetting of items of laundry in the drum is required. This degree is brought about in determinable manner by alternately wetting the items of laundry in the drum from below and from above. At intervals, the items of laundry can be tumbled together or loosened up by rotation of the drum. The volume of water absorbed by the items of laundry can be determined by determining the total volume of water admitted into the washing machine and making a comparison with the volume of water not absorbed by the items of laundry. This absorbed water is assumed to be uniformly distributed within the items of laundry and a level of drenching or degree of wetting of the items of laundry can accordingly be determined. In this way, subsequent washing processes can be carried out in a more defined and overall better way.
