  • Publication number: 20090133634
Abstract: A dairy farm system comprises a plurality of apparatuses (11a-e) for performing actions related to the operation of the dairy farm system, wherein the apparatuses are connected in a network (12), and at least one of the apparatuses (21, 26-28) is movable. The movable apparatus is wirelessly connectable to the network via a short-range radio link (23a-c, 26a-c, 27a-c, 28a-c), preferably a Bluetooth link. Advantageously, the movable apparatus is kept continuously connected in the network (12) via the radio link during operation. In one embodiment the movable apparatus is a feed device (21), wherein feeding instructions are received, and feeding status or error information is sent, by the feed device via the radio link.

  • Publication number: 20080202431
Abstract: The invention relates to a compact modular unit to be mounted in a milking stall having at least one pipeline system, which provides an operative function in connection with a milking process of an animal in the milking stall. The compact modular unit (4) includes a casing (28), which defines an inner space of the compact modular unit (4), an electric control unit (23), which is mounted in the inner space of the compact modular unit (4), and an indicator (27, 50), which is arranged to display information related to the milking processes in the milking stall. Furthermore, the compact modular unit (4) includes a component (9, 10, 17, 52) of the pipeline system which is mounted in the inner space of the compact modular unit (4).

  • Patent number: 6566989
Abstract: A contactor having electromagnetically operated contacts, wherein main contacts and connections for power supply are arranged in a bottom area of the contactor and contact control means such as electric magnet and coil are arranged above the main contacts. The contactor includes a contactor enclosure being sequentially detachable in two dependent, successive steps through a locking element utilized by both.steps, such that in a first step access is provided to the contactor main contacts, and in a second step access is provided to the electric magnet and coil. The locking element is formed to engage a first and second arresting seat defined in the contactor enclosure. The arresting seats are arranged to urge the locking element into engagement with the second arresting seat as the locking element is released from engagement with the first arresting seat.

  • Patent number: 6456177
Abstract: A contact element of a relay, operative for closing and breaking a power supply circuit, respectively, and comprising a contact element (5) for establishing a current path over a pair of connection means (3, 4) in the circuit closing mode, the contact element being received in a socket (10) that is arranged to be movable relative to the relay, and a spring element (22) is operative for holding the contact element in the socket such that the contact element is detachable from the socket against the action of said spring element, in a circuit breaking mode.

  • Patent number: 5282657
Abstract: A door handle assembly (10) to be mounted to a door, preferably a vehicle door, the assembly having a lock mechanism operating arrangement (11), made up of an operating handle (12) and an actuation lever (13), and a handle housing (14) to which the operating arrangement (11) is pivotally attached. To facilitate mounting of the door handle assembly to the door, the actuation lever (13) projects from the operating handle (12) at a predetermined fixed angle, and the actuation lever (13) is provided with an engagement surface (26) in the form of an open recess (31) directed away from the lock mechanism. The recess is intended to abut a portion (25) of actuation means (23) for the door lock when the door handle assembly is in its mounted state and the operating handle is displaced.

  • Patent number: 5052663
Abstract: A fixation element and a method for producing such fixation elements for a vibration-insulating assembly of a first component 20 upon a second component 19 is disclosed. The fixation element comprises bearing plates 10, 11 which are positioned at a distance axially spaced from each other and which have projecting snap-in members 13, 18 which are intended to engage corresponding openings defined within each component 19, 20, so that the two components are made to bear in a stable manner against the bearing plates 10, 11. In this respect the snap-in members 13, 18 form an integral part of each bearing plate 10, 11. Moreover, the plates are mutually connected by means of a bridging part 12 of elastomeric plastic material. According to the method, the bearing plates are cast as a single piece 21 within a first casting mold, such that they are connected by at least one breakable bridge 22. The single piece 21 is placed within a second casting mold consisting of two halves 23, 24.
