  • Patent number: 7058885
Abstract: Disclosed are a picture book template and a system and a method for making the same. The picture book template includes a picture book cutout that is cut and folded according to directions to create a picture book. The picture book cutout has a number of pages. The pages are defined by a number of identifier lines. • Patent number: 6911992
Abstract: A poster generation system and method includes interaction between a publishing server and a client, for example including interaction via a global computer network, to generate a poster. The publishing server provides interfaces to allow a user of the client, via the network, to select a poster template, populate the template with multiple images to be incorporated into the poster, manipulate the images within copy holes of the poster, and request a preview image of at least part of the poster. The publishing server is able to generate the preview image and forward it to the client via the network.

  • Publication number: 20040075866
Abstract: A poster generation system and method includes interaction between a publishing server and a client, for example including interaction via a global computer network, to generate a poster. The client downloads one or more poster templates from the publication server. A poster template is then populated on the client, associating image files with corresponding copy holes in the template. The images may be manipulated relative to the copy holes, for example being translated, re-scaled, or rotated. Image data is then uploaded to the publishing server for generation of a preview image and a printable poster image.
