Abstract: In a self-tapping anchor screw for application in mining, tunnel construction, above-ground or below-ground construction, and for screwing into rock or into a building, comprising a screw shaft, which comprises a frontal end and a rear end, a drill head embodied at the frontal end of the screw shaft, a self-tapping thread to fasten the anchor screw in a bore hole implemented by the drilling head, the anchor screw allows cost-effective production with little technical expense and reliable fastening. The anchor screw comprises a fastening element as a separate component complementing the screw shaft and the self-tapping thread is embodied at the fastening element.
