  • Patent number: 11935374
Abstract: In some implementations, a system for verifying items in a retail environment includes a physical shopping cart including a first set of sensors, and an automated checkout station including a second, different set of sensors. The physical shopping cart receives item verification data for verifying an item, detects the item as it enters the physical shopping cart, and performs a primary verification of the item. The automated checkout station obtains a virtual shopping cart that corresponds to the physical shopping cart. The virtual shopping cart includes a list of items that have been placed in the physical shopping cart, and a verification status of each item. The second, different set of sensors generate station sensor data that represents the physical shopping cart and the items in the physical shopping cart. A secondary verification of the physical shopping cart and its contents is performed by the automated checkout station.

  • Publication number: 20230106353
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for generating intermolecular covalent bonds (e.g. amide, e.g. isopeptide bonds) between polypeptides. In particular, it provides the use of a chimeric protein to generate an anhydride group on a polypeptide for the formation of a covalent bond, wherein the chimeric protein comprises (i) a domain comprising the polypeptide and (ii) a domain comprising a self-processing module that contains an N-terminal dipeptide of aspartate or glutamate and proline (D/E-P), wherein (i) and (ii) are linked by a peptide bond between the aspartate or glutamate residue at the N-terminus of (ii) and the amino acid at the C-terminus of (i) and wherein the self-processing module cleaves the peptide bond between the proline residue and the aspartate or glutamate residue in the self-processing module to release the polypeptide and generate the anhydride group on the aspartate or glutamate residue.

  • Patent number: 5354024
Abstract: Tripod for firearms, comprising a pivot support (1) having a vertical axis, to the flanges (5,6,7) of which are secured telescopical, adjustable legs (2,3,4), the first flange axis being horizontal enabling the leg (5) to be turned a vertical plane, the second (6) and third (7) flange axis being symmetrical to a vertical plane through the first leg and in a ground view, a front view and a side view being arranged in acute angles to the first leg axis, turning of second and third legs (6,7) thereby amending the angles of those legs in the ground view in relation to the plan of the first leg (2), all legs having the same length. With a fourth, shorter leg (8) on the first leg the distance between the pivot support axis and the first leg's resting point on the surface may be decreased substantially when second (6) and third (7) legs being adjusted in a small acute angle for shooting at ground level in a direction substantially in the longitudinal axis of the first leg ( 2).
