The plug (1) comprises a front part (4) and a sealing part (5), and the surface hardness of at least the sealing part is greater than the hardness of the work piece (3). The sealing part (5) is conical and has an increasing diameter, in a direction from the front part (4) and the sealing part (5) comprises a cutting thread (6). The profile of the cutting thread (6) comprises a sharp tapered top (7), two adjacent flat flanks (8), and a bottom (9) of the thread (6). The sharp tapered top (7) is formed by the two flanks (8) which meet at a common intersection point. An angle (?, ?) between the flanks (8) is between 110-160° while transitions between the flanks (8) and the bottom (9) are smooth.

    Abstract: An electrical box for securing a sheathed cable extending along a support wall to a connector is disclosed, preferably for use in a local area network computer communications system. The connection box comprises a mounting base, a cover plate, and a connection box. The mounting base has pairs of smooth cylindrical posts of different height respectively formed along edges of the base. The sheathed cable extending through an opening in the connection box is clamped between one pair of posts by a clamping bar screwed against upper post ends. A method of temporarily positioning the cover plate carrying the connector to the connection box is also disclosed allowing an installer to use both hands to electrically connect the cable to the connector.
