    Abstract: An irrigation system for plants comprises at least one elongate plant through a main pipe with a first, greater cross-sectional area, a plurality of openings distributed in the longitudinal direction and positioned in the bottom of the plant trough, and a plurality of branch pipes each with a second, smaller cross-sectional area. The branch pipes connect the main pipe to the openings. The main pipe is further connected to means for supply and discharge of water. The water level in the plant trough is regulated by supplying or discharging water to and from the main pipe. In manufacture, the means are arranged on a frame belonging to a cultivation table.

The ranging unit comprises means for optical aiming at the target, and devices for determination of the range, the angular rate in elevation and azimuth, and elevation. The devices emit measured value signals to the means for optical aiming at the target, which means is settable in elevation and azimuth in relationship to the firing direction of the anti-aircraft gun. The calculating unit controls, guided by said received signals and information given about the velocity of the fired projectile and the prevailing wind vector, the second optical means in such a way that when the operator aims through same at the target by setting the barrel in elevation and azimuth, the offset and lead angles of the barrel are such that a fired projectile hits the target.

    Abstract: A safety device for butterfly dampers is mounted in the flue duct of oil fired central heaters and operated by a control device susceptible of rotating a damper element actuated by the pressure of fuel oil fed by a pump through an oil supply line to a burner head to open and close the flue duct. A valve device is mounted in the oil supply line between the oil pump and the burner head and controlled by a position indicator associated with the damper device. The rotation of the damper element is transferred to the position indicator who relays the signal to the valve device. Accordingly a rotation of the damper element toward the closing position will actuate the valve device to close the oil supply line and extinguish the heater.
