  • Patent number: 8448911
Abstract: The invention relates to a rail arrangement for coupling a displaceable element to a support structure, wherein the rail arrangement comprises a guiding rail and a fitting. In this arrangement the fitting is connectable to the displaceable element, and the guiding rail is connectable to the support structure. The fitting is arranged in the guiding rail in such a way that the fitting can be displaced in longitudinal direction of the guiding rail; wherein the guiding rail is formed as an open-top hollow profile with a rail base. In this arrangement the rail base comprises at least one elevation that extends upwards (i.e. towards the open-top). The fitting comprises a bottom surface which in longitudinal direction is interrupted by a continuous groove, wherein the form of the groove of the fitting is designed in such a way that the fitting is guided by the elevation along the guiding rail.

  • Patent number: 8074954
Abstract: A rail for fastening installations in an aircraft, the rail including a rail base section, a running-surface section that extends in a longitudinal direction with a running surface, and a connection section that connects the running-surface section to the rail base section at the face pointing away from the running surface. The running-surface section laterally on both sides, in each case spaced apart at a predetermined pitch, includes a multitude of projections projecting away from the connection section, each with a top that has substantially the same alignment as the running surface and a bottom that has an alignment that substantially is opposed to the alignment of the running surface. The bottom of the projections forms holding surfaces for holding a fitting. The rail is attached to a floor of the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20100314505
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for holding lines in an aircraft that comprising at least one line inlet, at least one line outlet and at least one holding space for holding at least part of a line section extending between the line inlet and the line outlet, wherein the line section has a length that is equal to or greater than the clear distance between the relevant line inlet and line outlet, and wherein the holding space comprising means for separably holding, as well as for shortening or lengthening in a reversibly guided fashion, a line end that protrudes from the line inlet and/or line outlet. Due to the devices according to the invention, lines that are individually cut to length are no longer required for connecting reconfigurable rows of passenger seats because the device according to the invention releases or takes up excess line lengths depending on the position of the rows of passenger seats.
