  • Patent number: 11560762
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to elevator locking system apparatus and methods, and associated components thereof. In one implementation, a slip-type elevator assembly includes an elevator body including one or more slips configured to grip a tubular, and a first door pivotably coupled to the elevator body. The slip-type elevator assembly includes a second door pivotably coupled to the elevator body, the first door and the second door movable between an open position and a closed position. The slip-type elevator assembly also includes a locking system including a bolt movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. In the unlocked position the bolt is disposed in a first cavity formed in the first door. In the locked position a first portion of the bolt is disposed in the first cavity and a second portion of the bolt is disposed outside of the first cavity.

  • Patent number: 10801275
Abstract: An elevator system that supports a tubular member includes an elevator movable between a first elevator position and a second elevator position. A mechanical signal mechanism is coupled to the elevator. A valve is coupled to the mechanical signal mechanism. The mechanical signal mechanism is configured to transmit a mechanical signal by a mechanical control cable to move the valve into a valve position to send a valve signal that the elevator is in the second elevator position.

  • Patent number: 9976365
Abstract: An apparatus to support a tubular member such as pipes, in particular in deep drilling, in particular in the field of oil and gas production, for instance in deep drilling. A plurality of linear actuators for moving clamp elements are orientated with their actuator axis in a cone angle of a sliding surface for the clamp elements. The linear actuators are positioned in the clamp elements.
