  • Patent number: 7556294
Abstract: The invention relates to a tubular rotary joint, in particular for conducting a polymer melt, comprising a holder and a mobile connection body, which is rotatably connected to the holder by means of one bearing end. A distribution chamber with a feeder is configured in the holder, said chamber being connected to a distribution channel that is configured in the connection body. The distribution channel in the connection body leads to a connection end, to which a pipe section can be coupled. To guarantee the flexibility of the connection body at high pressure and at high temperatures, the bearing end of the connection body is configured as a shaft journal, which is rotatably mounted in a bearing bore that penetrates the distribution chamber in the holder.

  • Publication number: 20030035855
Abstract: A spinning apparatus for extruding a group of filaments by means of an annular spinneret. An annular collection chamber is arranged upstream of the spinneret, which is provided with a plurality of nozzle bores. The collection chamber has an upper inlet area and a lower annular outlet area, which is connected to the upper inlet area. In the inlet area of the collection chamber a filter device is disposed, upstream of which is a melt feed. The inlet area of the collection chamber is formed by a plurality of filter chambers, which are each provided with a melt inlet and a melt outlet. The filter device has a plurality of substantially cylindrical filter elements, which are each provided with a powdered filter medium. One of these filter elements is assigned to each filter chamber. This ensures a large filtration area and deep bed filtration of the polymer melt.

  • Patent number: 4967457
Abstract: An arrangement for stretching thermoplastic fibers of synthetic polymers, particularly polypropylene, polyester or polyamide, for producing high strength yarns, comprises a delivery mechanism for delivering fibers, a stretching mechanism for stretching fibers, and a plurality of heated rollers arranged between the delivery mechanism and the stretching mechanism for deviating the fibers and means for applying to the fibers a force which is opposite to a direction of movement of the fibers, none of the rollers being driven and at least one of said rollers is provided with a brake, the fibers passing around the rollers without slippage.

  • Patent number: 4846653
Abstract: The package of spinning nozzles is assembled of a nozzle plate, an intermediate plate and a cover plate. The upper side of the nozzle plate is provided with a plurality of parallel grooves each having a bottom wall formed with a series of spinning nozzles. The lower side of the intermediate plate is formed with a plurality of lamellae projecting into the corresponding grooves of the nozzle plate. Each lamella has a series of throughbores which are aligned with respective spinning nozzles. The intermediate plate is formed with a transverse main distributing channel which communicates at opposite sides thereof with distributing branch channels extending between the lamellae and being delimited by the upper side of the nozzle plate. The distributing branch channels communicate with respective spinning nozzles via curved recesses formed in the lateral walls of the grooves. The bottom side of the cover plate is formed with a dome-shaped recess enclosing the inlets of the through-bores in the intermediate plate.

  • Patent number: 4728475
Abstract: A synthetic granulate is fed into an extruder through an inclined upper part transiting into a short vertical lower part communicating with an inlet in the extruder. A down shaft of smaller diameter for feeding a stream of a dye stuff projects through the inclined part and terminates about midway in the vertical lower part. The stream of synthetic granulate forms below the outlet of the filling channel a funnel-shaped cavity onto which a stream of dosed dye stuff continuously falls. The interface of the cavity with the synthetic granules is continuously renewed and thus a uniform stream of the dye stuff is admixed to the granules.

  • Patent number: 4615670
Abstract: An arrangement for melt spinning of synthetic high polymers comprising a spinning bar, rails arranged at a height of a nozzle set inserted in the spinning bar, and a device for exchanging the spinning bars and including a carriage with an arm hydraulically moveable from an inclined inwardly directed normal position to a horizontal working position, wherein a free end of the arm is connected with a table serving for receiving of the exchangeable nozzle set and provided with elements for centering and securing of the dismounted nozzle set.

  • Patent number: 4099898
Abstract: An arrangement for inserting a nozzle unit in a spinning device for spinning synthetic fibers has shafts extending through and movable relative to the opening of the device, means for detachably connecting the first end portion of the shafts to the nozzle unit, and drive means connected to the second end portion of the shafts and operative for pulling the latter. When the nozzle unit is connected to the shafts, and the latter are pulled by the drive means, the nozzle unit enters the opening of the device. The shafts may move vertically or along a curved trajectory. The connecting means may be formed as hooks pivotally connected to the first end portions of the shafts by hinges and engageable with loops mounted on the nozzle unit. Hollow beams filled with a heat-carrying agent are built in a body part of the device. Means for actuating the drive means are located outside the hollow beam, and preferably, below the same.
