Abstract: Improved bottles for dispensing liquid household products such as liquid detergents and fabric softeners. The package is comprised of a multilayer body in which the inner layer includes polyethylene made with a metallocene catalyst. The bottles have improved stress cracks resistance yet may be lighter then traditional bottles. They may be made by blow molding.

Abstract: A device for stamping a detergent bar, i.e. a bar comprising soap, a synthetic detergent active or a mixture thereof, includes a die half and a release fluid reservoir. The die is porous so that at least one bar stamping surface has pores through which a release fluid may be to facilitate clean release of the detergent bar cleanly after stamping. Good release of the detergent bars from the die is expected without or with reduced chilling of the dies.

Abstract: A packaged product comprising a plurality of individual containers, a corrugated board or paperboard carrier wall disposed along a portion of the periphery and shrink wrapping. The shrink wrap film has vent holes that are specifically sized and spaced apart as needed to provide adequate venting of one or more volatiles out of the shrinkwrapped multi-pack to prevent package staining and/or discoloration of the package's printing inks. The container wall preferably has an open top and bottom and also has two free edges spaced from each other so as to leave a portion of the periphery uncovered by the wall.

Abstract: A multi-carton package especially useful for household products such as soap bars. The package may be readily divided by the consumer into separate cartons. The cartons include delamination windows and easy opening tabs.

Abstract: This invention relates to a reclosable sealing carton with a thin polymeric coating. The package is characterized by an extended glue flap scored with a cut-out adapted to form a plug when adhered to the underside of a closure flap and a closure flap overlying the glue flap cut-out of the material of the closure flap. When the consumer opens the closure flap, the cut-out in the glue flap adheres to the closure flap thereby forming a reclosable plug. The closure also comprises a thin, top coating applied to the closure to provide increased durability and resistance to wet handling. The reclosable flap may further comprise a tab facilitating ease of lifting the closing and a recess cut-out of the side panel overlying the glue flap also facilitating ease of lifting.
