Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for distributing software, more particularly, to a method for distributing software based on software protection devices. Said software includes an upgrade program that is extracted from the software and placed into a user software protection device, and a protected program retained after the upgrade program is extracted from the software. Said protected program, upgrade program (which will be placed into the user software protection device), and the user software protection device are delivered to the user respectively. Then said protected program and upgrade program are installed and run jointly using leasehold information. Therefore, the software distribution process is protected and managed reliably, the developer's software distribution process is streamlined, the security of software protection is increased, the developer's development cost is reduced, and the usability of the software protection device is increased as well.

Abstract: A fold-over cover holder for mailing and storing a compact disc or the like is made from a unitary die-cut blank that defines panels adapted to be folded and selectively secured in juxtaposed relation to create an inside pocket for holding a compact disc. A cover panel is adapted to be sealed in overlying relation to the pocket so as to close the inside pocket for mailing. The recipient can open the cover by bursting a perforation line adjacent the tape strip. Once opened, a tab is exposed on the cover that, when inserted into a pre-cut slot on the pocket, securely closes the cover so that the package can be retained to store the compact disc. A die cut opening is formed in the pocket forming panel to display the stored disc when the cover panel is opened.
