Patent number: 8286608Abstract: A sealing system for oscillating-piston engines that include two oscillating pistons that revolve together in a spherical housing. The pistons perform reciprocating oscillating movements in opposite directions about an oscillation axis perpendicular to the axis of revolution for the pistons. Guide members are provided on the pistons and engage at least one guide groove formed in the housing. Sealing elements are disposed on or in the vicinity of all moving edges surrounding working chambers and prechambers for the engine. The sealing elements seal all the gap regions present between machine parts displaced relative to one another by revolving and/or oscillating movements and not in direct contact. Sealing elements prevent excessive penetration of lubricating fluid into inlet and outlet openings in the housing.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2007Date of Patent: October 16, 2012Assignee: Peraves AGInventor: Arnold Wagner

Patent number: 7469673Abstract: A rotary-piston engine includes at least two rotary pistons, which are located in an essentially spherical housing and which rotate in common about a rotational axis running through the center of the housing, each of the rotary pistons comprising two pistons that are interconnected in a fixed manner, lie diametrically opposite the center of the housing and execute pivoting displacements back and forth in opposite directions about a pivoting axis running perpendicular to the rotational axis, during their rotation. To control the pivoting displacements, the engine is provided with loose spherical or ellipsoidal rotational bodies, which are rotatably mounted in the sliding surfaces of the pistons in respective guide sockets that are hemispherical or ellipsoidal and which engage in at least one guide groove that is configured in the housing. The groove has an essentially hemispherical or ellipsoidal profile.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2005Date of Patent: December 30, 2008Assignee: Peraves AGInventor: Arnold Wagner

Patent number: 7357416Abstract: The device for stabilizing a single-track vehicle comprises a supporting device (4) and an adjusting device (14) which is intended for selective lowering and raising of support elements and which can be actuated by way of a control device (10). The control device (10) can be influenced as a function of a combination of control signals from a speedometer which senses the speed of the vehicle and of a transverse acceleration meter. The adjusting device (14) comprises at least one supporting and actuating element (15) which can be influenced in combination by way of the control device (10) and/or by signals from the driver and is intended for extending and retracting the supporting device (4), as well as means for selective locking, unlocking, tensioning and extending of the supporting and actuating element (15). This device makes possible automatic lowering or raising of the supporting device (14) without additional operating requirements.Type: GrantFiled: July 3, 2003Date of Patent: April 15, 2008Assignee: Peraves AktiengesellschaftInventor: Arnold Wagner
