  • Publication number: 20210022714
Abstract: Ultrasound image devices, systems, and methods are provided. An ultrasound imaging system, comprising an intraluminal imaging device configured to be positioned within a body lumen of a patient, the intraluminal imaging device comprising a rotatable, flexible elongate drive cable; and an ultrasound transducer disposed at a distal portion of the drive cable, the ultrasound transducer configured to transmit ultrasound energy into the body lumen and to receive ultrasound echoes associated with the body lumen; and a processor circuit in communication with the intraluminal imaging device and configured to receive, from the ultrasound transducer, signal data corresponding to the received ultrasound echoes; normalize the signal data; remove a low frequency signal component from the normalized signal data; determine a displacement for one or more scanlines of the signal data after removing the low frequency signal component; and generate an image of the body lumen based on the displacement.

  • Publication number: 20150359510
Abstract: A compact and efficient drive shaft for an in vivo imaging system and a method of making the same is provided by the present disclosure. In one aspect, the drive shaft includes a plurality of conductors secured to the exterior of a flexible elongate core. The conductors connect an imaging element at the distal end to a connection assembly near the proximal end of the drive shaft.

  • Publication number: 20110148130
Abstract: An apparatus for weighing a stent includes a buffer for storing a stent support with a stent mounted thereon, a stent mounting and dismounting assembly that mounts and dismounts the stent from the stent support, a robotic arm for moving the stent support with the stent between the buffer and the stent mounting and dismounting assembly, and a scale assembly for weighing the stent. The stent mounting and dismounting assembly moves the stent into the scale assembly after the stent has been dismount from the stent support.

  • Publication number: 20040267195
Abstract: A balloon catheter, and a method of making the balloon catheter, having at least one visible mark which is visible from an outer surface of the balloon. The balloon catheter is configured for use as a dilatation catheter or stent delivery system, and the visible mark facilitates assembly of the balloon catheter or stent delivery system. In a presently preferred embodiment, the visible mark is an ink coating mark, a titanium oxide mark, or a scorch mark.
