  • Patent number: 11137856
Abstract: A sensing device comprises sensor electrodes arranged in an array of rows and columns, and vias. A first vias is arranged in a first direction, and corresponds to a first column of sensor electrodes adjacent to a first side edge of the sensing device. A second via is arranged in a second direction different than the first direction, and corresponds to a second column of the sensor electrodes adjacent to a second side edge of the sensing device. Each of the sensor electrodes is configured to be coupled to a routing trace through one of the vias. In a first row of the plurality of sensor electrodes, a two vias are different distances from the first side edge and in a second row of the plurality of sensor electrodes, two vias are different distances from the second side edge.

  • Publication number: 20210015385
Abstract: A biological signal detection system includes one or more magnetic field sensors for placement on a user and for detecting signals generated by biological magnetic field sources of the user; at least one memory; at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and the one or more magnetic field sensors and configured to receive the detected signals of the one or more magnetic field sensors. The at least one processor is configured to perform actions including receiving the detected signals from the magnetic field sensors; determining whether the detected signals are modulated by a predetermined stimulus tag; and, in response to the determination, identifying which of the detected signals are modulated by the predetermined stimulus tag.

  • Patent number: 10261619
Abstract: Techniques for determining force applied by an input object in a sensing region of an input device are provided. The techniques generally include driving a plurality of sensor electrodes within a sensing region to acquire sensor data, generating a first histogram based on the sensor data, the first histogram including a plurality of bins each having an associated value, and based on the values associated with at least a subset of the plurality of bins of the first histogram, determining force information for an input object.

  • Patent number: 10042489
Abstract: Embodiments described herein include an input device, a display device having a capacitive sensing device, a processing system and a method for detecting presence of an input object using a capacitive sensing device. In one embodiment, an input device includes a plurality of sensor electrodes arranged in a planar matrix array. Each sensor electrode is coupled to unique routing trace and has an identical geometric plan form that is symmetrical about a center of area of the sensor electrode. The geometric plan form of each sensor electrode includes core and a plurality of protrusions extending outward from the core. The protrusions are configured to overlap with protrusions extending outward from each adjacent sensor electrode of the matrix array.
