  • Patent number: 10893632
Abstract: An equipment enclosure free air cooling assembly includes an air outlet arranged to deliver air to inside an equipment enclosure and an air inlet arranged to receive air from outside the equipment enclosure. An air flow pathway is provided through which air entering the air inlet must pass to reach the air outlet. An adjustable screen assembly has a screen filter element. An adjustment mechanism is operable to selectively utilize different regions of the screen filter element for filtering air passing through the air flow pathway at different times.

  • Patent number: 10451295
Abstract: An equipment enclosure with temperature control components, an equipment enclosure temperature control unit, an equipment enclosure temperature control method, and various modular temperature control subassemblies are respectively disclosed for controlling the temperature of equipment in an equipment chamber. The temperature control components and unit may be implemented with a modular design wherein an air-conditioning unit is selectively mountable on an air handler assembly. The temperature control components and unit may support air-conditioning, free-air-cooling, free-air-cooling-with-return, and heating modes of operation. An emergency-free-air-cooling mode of operation may also be supported.

  • Patent number: 9326426
Abstract: An equipment enclosure includes an air exhaust opening and an air intake opening at respective upper and lower regions of the enclosure, and an interior equipment chamber configured to house controlled temperature equipment at a controlled temperature equipment area. A temperature diverter system includes a warm air exhaust subsystem and a warm air circulation subsystem. The warm air exhaust subsystem is operable to vent warm air in the enclosure through the air exhaust opening in order to cool the controlled temperature equipment area. The warm air circulation subsystem is operable to circulate warm air in the enclosure to the controlled temperature equipment area in order to warm that area. The equipment enclosure further includes one or more temperature sensors and a temperature controller for controlling operations of the warm air exhaust subsystem and the warm air circulation system based on input from the temperature sensor(s).

  • Patent number: 8902570
Abstract: An electrical panelboard enclosure includes an enclosure housing with an interior equipment chamber accessible by way of a service entrance door. A service panel is configured to receive power from a main power source. A main power breaker has a main power breaker toggle switch and is positionable between a power-on state and a power-off state to selectively activate and deactivate the main power. A power cutoff switch mechanism is operable from outside the service entrance door and is positionable between a power-on state and a power-off state to mechanically engage and deactivate the main power breaker toggle switch and cutoff the main power without opening the service entrance door. A lockout system is operable to prevent the service entrance door from being secured in a closed position unless the main power breaker and the power cutoff switch mechanism are in the same state.

  • Publication number: 20140167582
Abstract: A cover assembly for use with an outdoor equipment enclosure when the enclosure is opened up for access. The equipment enclosure includes a housing having an interior equipment chamber accessible via an opening in a side portion of the housing. A service entrance door is positionable between a closed position wherein the opening is covered and an open position wherein the opening is exposed. The cover assembly includes a frame positionable above a top portion of the housing. The frame is configurable between an open unfolded position and closed folded position. A cover is supportable on the frame in the unfolded position. The cover has a top and plural side portions that enclose the enclosure housing when the cover is deployed. This provides an area surrounding the enclosure housing that is sequestered from an outside environment when it is necessary to access the equipment chamber via the service entrance door.

  • Patent number: 8456806
Abstract: An electrical panelboard enclosure includes an enclosure housing with an interior equipment chamber accessible by way of a service entrance door. A service panel is adapted for connection to a main power source in order to receive main power therefrom. A power supply is operatively connected to receive main power from the service panel and deliver it to a load. The power supply is also adapted for connection to a backup power source in order to receive backup power therefrom and deliver it to the load in the event of a main power cutoff. A load disconnector is operatively connected between the power supply and the load. The load disconnector is manually operable to disconnect the load from the power supply to prevent the power supply from delivering either main or backup power to the load.

  • Patent number: 8443738
Abstract: A high-security enclosure includes a base, a cover and a lock system. The lock system includes a base portion and a cover portion. The lock system base portion includes one or more fixed lock bars. The lock system cover portion includes one or more movable lock bars. Each movable lock bar is generally perpendicular to, and arranged to engage, one of the fixed lock bars. The lock system cover portion further includes a lock bar retraction assembly coupled to the one or more movable lock bars for retracting the movable lock bar(s) substantially simultaneously out of engagement with the fixed lock bar(s). A security drive mechanism is coupled to the lock bar retraction assembly to drive the lock system.
