  • Publication number: 20230343361
Abstract: A method of providing audio processing in an audio device, executed by one or more processors, comprises receiving an audio signal, performing a subjective quality assessment on the audio signal to generate a subjective quality assessment score, based on the subjective quality assessment score, providing control parameters to a signal processing module, and processing the audio signal, by the signal processing module, based on the control parameters. The subjective quality assessment may be a Mean Opinion Score (MOS) performed by a trained machine-learning model.

  • Publication number: 20230188805
Abstract: A method of providing custom audio processing in an audio device having an embedded audio DSP framework is disclosed. The audio device has an associated application that runs on a personal computing device. The method comprises receiving a notification of the availability of an audio processing configuration file, the audio processing configuration file identifying audio modules, interconnections between the audio modules and related settings for custom audio processing, transmitting a request for the audio processing configuration file from the personal computing device, receiving the audio processing configuration file at the personal computing device, transmitting the audio processing configuration file to the audio device from the personal computing device, and loading the audio processing configuration file into the audio device.

  • Patent number: 11540964
Abstract: A patient support apparatus may include a support surface configured to conduct air along a top face of the support surface so that heat and moisture from a patient lying on the support surface are drawn away from the top face of the support surface. An opening may be formed in a side of the support surface. A cavity may extend from the opening into the support surface. An inlet port may be positioned within the cavity and fluidly coupled to the top face. A blower assembly may be configured to position within the cavity. The blower assembly may have an outlet port that couples to the inlet port when the blower assembly is positioned within the cavity. The blower assembly may conduct air through the inlet port to the top face of the support surface.

  • Patent number: 9620088
Abstract: Technologies for low-power display refresh standby include a computing device with a display such as an LCD panel. The computing device may include a system-on-a-chip (SoC) with a processor, I/O subsystem, display controller, and memory. When the computing device determines that a display image is static, the computing device enters a low-power display refresh standby mode, powering down unneeded components of the SoC such as processor cores, peripheral devices, and memory other than a dedicated display buffer. The display controller may access the dedicated display buffer via the I/O subsystem and output the image to the display. The computing device may power down the I/O subsystem and the dedicated display buffer when a display controller FIFO is full of image data, and periodically power on the I/O subsystem and display buffer to fill the display controller FIFO. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 8029019
Abstract: A mounting assembly is provided for a vehicle ROPS unit which includes two legs. Each mounting assembly includes a base plate fixed to an end of a corresponding leg, a support plate, a top plate and a resilient bushing unit which separates the base plate from the support and top plates. The base plate is sandwiched between the support plate and the top plate. The bushing unit includes first and second resilient bushing members and a rigid hollow central sleeve. The bushing unit is received by a bore in the base plate. The support plate includes hollow mounting towers which project into bores in the base plate. Cap screws attach the mounting assembly to a vehicle axle housing. The top plate and the support plate are fixed to each other and to a frame of the vehicle.
