  • Patent number: 11032380
Abstract: A system may include a service deployment system configured to receive user indicators, map the user indicators to a plurality of services, determine an order of deployment associated with the plurality of services, and determine deployment locations associated with the plurality of services. The service deployment system may be configured to generate a plurality of actions, responsive to the plurality of services, the order of deployment, and the deployment locations.

  • Patent number: 10740133
Abstract: Examples described herein may include migration of data associated with a service to a container. An example method includes creating of a user virtual machine associated with a service and an associated virtual disk storing data associated with running the service, and creating a volume group and an associated storage container at a node of a computing system. The example method further includes storing a cloned version of the virtual disk into the storage container, and, in response to discovery of the cloned version of the virtual disk in the storage container, mounting the cloned version of the virtual disk on the volume group to provide access to clients running the service.

  • Publication number: 20200150950
Abstract: Examples of systems described herein may advantageously facilitate a software upgrade of one or more computing nodes of a distributed system without requiring a reboot of the node or otherwise rendering the node completely unavailable during upgrade. Upgrade portals described herein may provide each computing node with only the differential data needed to upgrade the node. Upgrade managers at each computing node may upgrade software at the computing node based on the differential data and restart services effected by the upgrade using the differential data. Other services may remain available during the restart of the effected services.

  • Publication number: 20190087757
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a geographic information system (GIS) based centralized carbon footprint monitoring system (CFMS) that can monitor carbon footprint related to geographically distribute power consuming sites that meet their power requirement from multiplicity of power sources. The disclosure provides for real time monitoring of source of electric power among to a particular power consuming site. The captured power source status is periodically communicated to a Centralized Processing System configured to store the data and generate statistical reports relating to carbon footprint of these sites. The statistical reports are prepared by a web application built on top of the Centralized Processing System. Further, to provide a better comprehensibility of the information, the carbon footprint of the power consuming sites for a given period for a desired geographical region is displayed by means of Thematic Maps that are based on Geographic Information System (GIS) of Survey of India.
