Abstract: A mounting apparatus for use with a marker and related systems and methods are disclosed. The mounting apparatus includes a mount head. An elongated spike is connected to and extends from the mount head. A first attachment section is formed at a substantial center point of the mount head, wherein the first attachment section has a blind, stepped hole positioned therein. A plurality of attachment sections is formed within the mount head and located radially about a center of the mount head, wherein the plurality of attachment sections each have a hole formed at least partially through the mount head.

Abstract: A marking device includes a support having a first end engaged with a ground surface, and a second end positioned away from the ground surface. A force transfer structure is connected to the second end of the support, wherein the force transfer structure has a diameter less than a diameter of a middle portion of the support. A cylindrical biasing mechanism attached to the middle portion of the support, wherein the cylindrical biasing mechanism has a first end, a second end and a middle portion, wherein the middle portion has a diameter that exceeds a diameter of the first end and the second end. An elongated rod, attached to the second end of the cylindrical biasing mechanism at a first end.

Abstract: This application describes a compact grinder that allows scooping particulate material to be ground (such as coffee beans), grinding the material to a controlled and consistent size, while concurrently emitting the stream of grinds directly into a receptacle, such as a coffee filter or the receptacle for an automatic coffee maker. The scoop portion of the grinder is sized to fit into the standard bags used for whole bean packaging, eliminating the need for a separate storage vessel or the need to pour the beans from their bag into the grinder. It has calibrated markings within the scoop, eliminating the need for a separate measuring device.

Abstract: A marker includes a base. The base has a first end, a middle portion and a second end, wherein the middle portion is located between the first end and the second end. A spring element is attached to the middle portion of the base. An elongated rod is attached to the spring element at a first end.

Abstract: A paper cutter utilizing a lamp to illuminate a cutline scored into a transparent plastic surface located below directly below the paper to be cut. The silhouette of the cutline acts as the guideline for placement of the cutting blade of the paper cutter to thereby create the exact line of cut. A dual blade rotary cutter is also provided in a paper cutter with a toggle arrangement located on the carriage assembly which allows the user of the cutter to selectively engage one or the other of the blades to engage the cutter.
