  • Publication number: 20090094797
Abstract: A method of clipping papers together, to be performed by a user, that utilizes a paper clip made of resilient material and defining a paper clip plane when the resilient material is in its relaxed state, the paper clip includes a torsion bridge linking an inner jaw and an outer jaw. The inner jaw further includes a gap catch extending from a closed end of the inner jaw whereby the gap catch is disposed in a generally offset position in relation to the outer jaw and wherein one end of the gap catch is closely adjacent to a portion of the torsion bridge. The user holds the clip, pressing against the gap catch with a digit, to move the inner jaw out of the paper-clip plane and slides the papers into the gap created and releases the gap catch, so the clip transversely presses against and thereby retain the papers.
