Abstract: A feeder for the selective presentation of food products for animals. The feeder includes a storage bin for containing animal food which includes an open top and a lid. A pressure plate is provided which is functionally linked to the open top. When an animal steps upon the pressure plate, the lid opens revealing the interior of the bin and its housed food products in a manner which is calculated not to frighten the animal being fed.
