  • Publication number: 20240107364
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for calculating capabilities of a WB in a communication system within a TSN network. The WB comprises at least a UPF, a BS and a UE. The UPF comprises at least one NW port enabling communication between said BS and a first subnetwork. The UE is wirelessly connected, within the TSN network, to said BS, and comprises a DS port enabling communication with a second subnetwork. The method is performed at the WB and comprises estimating a performance capacity of the wireless connection between the BS and the UE based on information related to an intended network usage for time-sensitive communication at the WB, and calculating the TSN capabilities of the WB corresponding to the estimated performance capacity. The disclosure further relates to a corresponding communication system.

  • Publication number: 20240089758
Abstract: A method evaluates channel information of a database, DB, the DB channel information being associated to a target area and being representative of expected characteristics of a wireless communication channel in the target area to be provided to one or more communication devices. The method includes: obtaining, by a processing circuit, all or part of the DB channel information from the database; obtaining, by the processing circuit, observed channel information representative of characteristics of the wireless communication channel experienced by a first communication device in the target area; computing, by the processing circuit, a reliability indicator for the DB channel information for the target area, by comparing the DB channel information and the observed channel information and determining a timing information for the reliability indicator.

  • Publication number: 20230354280
Abstract: The radio frequency resource is shared between the first device and at least one second device connected to a second radio access network. The first device first obtains information representative of a usage of the radio frequency resource by the second device. Then, it obtains a threshold value of a collision rate acceptable for the second device. It determines a value representative of an estimated collision rate as experienced by the second device for at least one frequency resource allocation of the first device from the obtained information representative of the usage of said radio frequency resource by said second device. Finally, the first device uses the at least one frequency resource allocation for the first device in the case where the determined value is below the obtained threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20230291692
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and products for processing stream requests. Upon obtaining the stream requests, an initial TSN scheduling is computed at a CNC based on an initial TSN capability obtained from a dynamic bridge (DB). Then, a loop is started. At each iteration, it is determined, based on information related at least to the last computed TSN scheduling, whether or not to provide information related to an updated TSN capability of the DB to the CNC. If it is decided to provide said information, the CNC computes, based on said information, an updated TSN scheduling. Else, the loop is exited. It is determined, based on at least one computed TSN scheduling, whether to configure the TSN according to one of said at least one computed TSN scheduling or to request an adjustment of at least one stream request.
