  • Patent number: 11957504
Abstract: Non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) systems and methods are disclosed that measure a blood pressure, and in some examples a beat-to-beat blood pressure, of a patient without restricting blood flow. The NIBP systems determine an efficacy of administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the patient based on the measured blood pressure and are able to optionally output the CPR efficacy or generate user prompts based on the CPR efficacy. Further, the disclosed NIBP systems can generate user instructions to administer further treatment to the patient based on the CPR efficacy.

  • Patent number: 11955116
Abstract: Content is organized for brands by selecting a plurality of brand templates. After each selection, a set of properties is generated by applying a portion of settings of the respective brand template, with the remaining settings being overridden with settings for a channel communicating one of a plurality of presentations to a node of a network involved in the communication. The plurality of presentations may include different renditions of the same content. The properties may include sections configured for different focus areas and/or types of content associated with at tags to enable brand-level-targeting. Filters may be identified in the properties. Based on each of the identifications, a property from among the generated sets of properties may be selected based on comparisons with the associated tags.

  • Publication number: 20230347725
Abstract: This invention provides a pickup truck rear side panel cover comprised of at least three attached pieces with the cover comprising one layer of material. The cover fits all, or substantially all, of the outside, optionally the top rail, and optionally the inside of the top rail of the driver side and/or passenger side rear side panel. The cover is foldable, temporary, not permanently affixed, easily removable, easily storable by folding it up to a volume of less than 3 cubic feet, and not for highway use, and it can be quickly and easily installed (and uninstalled) while the pickup truck is stationary. The cover shields a rear side panel of the pickup truck while loading and/or unloading the bed of the pickup truck and thereby it protects the rear side panel of the pickup truck from damage such as scratches and dents from falling debris while loading and/or unloading the bed of the pickup truck.

  • Patent number: 11544397
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for sending and receiving encrypted submessages. Messages could be partitioned into a plurality of submessages based on the content of a message, and such submessages could be individually encrypted and sent over a network. The partitioning could be based on various standards and/or heuristics. In the sending process, submessages could be designated to travel over different networks and networks of different types. Such submessages could then be received and reassembled in spite containing overlapping content with respect to each other, having to contend with copies of submessages, and having accompanying related content (e.g., advertisements) and non-related content (e.g., random bits). Moreover, the sending process could also be performed in real time or in a batched manner, depending on the implementation.

  • Publication number: 20190226744
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a passive temperature control system for such a transport and storage containers. The present invention seeks to provide a system that can enable goods to be securely and reliably transported and stored for limited periods within specified temperature ranges. Pharmaceuticals, proteins, biological samples and other temperature sensitive products, including food items, are regularly shipped in containers year round and are subjected to a wide range of temperatures. Though they are shipped in insulated containers and/or climate controlled environments, the temperature stability of the shipping containers can be significantly improved by utilising suitable phase change materials in an ordered fashion. The present invention provides a simple solution to the maintenance of temperature profiles for the transport and storage of temperature sensitive products.

  • Publication number: 20180336397
Abstract: An exemplary method is provided for operating an electronic device to detect a live face, so as to distinguish an actual authorized user from an image of the authorized user. The method comprises the steps of using the electronic device to capture multiple images of an object, with at least one of the captured images including added illumination of a selected color, identifying pixels of the captured images corresponding to each of an identified shaded region and an identified lit region of the object, comparing the pixels corresponding to the identified shaded and lit regions of the object from each of the multiple images, to each other, to determine a dark and lit region relative color or intensity difference and detecting a three-dimensional object in the images as a function of the dark and lit region relative color or intensity difference. The electronic device enables or confirms a face recognition function to determine an authorized user when the detection indicates a three-dimensional object.

  • Patent number: 9745091
Abstract: The present description discusses apparatuses and methods for applying straps around a bundle of objects by applying a variable force to tension the strap around the bundle of objects and then actuating a series of cams to control the sealing of the strap around the bundle of objects. The apparatus includes a track assembly extending substantially about a strapping station. The track assembly is adapted to receive a strap and to release the strap during a tensioning operation. An accumulator delivers strap to the track assembly. The accumulator has a strap conveyor system that defines a strap path and an accumulator container adjacent to the strap path. Strap can be accumulated in the accumulator container and subsequently delivered to the track assembly.
