  • Publication number: 20240135550
Abstract: Anatomical and functional assessment of coronary artery disease (CAD) using machine learning and computational modeling techniques deploying methodologies for non-invasive Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) quantification based on angiographically derived anatomy and hemodynamics data, relying on machine learning algorithms for image segmentation and flow assessment, and relying on accurate physics-based computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation for computation of the FFR.

  • Patent number: 9096298
Abstract: A rescue pole includes a clamping mechanism secured to a pole. In one aspect the rescue pole has a hollow body with exterior sections connected by sidewalls. A pair of opposed curved arms extend from the hollow body and pivot to close and separate from each other. A pulley is mounted on the body between the curved arms opposite the pole. First and second rope members secured to a drive mechanism operate the curved arms. Pulling one rope moves apart the exterior attached arms. Pulling another rope moves the arms toward each other.

  • Patent number: 8360813
Abstract: A rescue pole is secured to a clamping mechanism having a hollow body with exterior sections connected by sidewalls. A pair of opposed curved arms extends from the hollow body. Each arm has a pin extending through a pair of aligned, linear slots in the hollow body, with the slots converging toward the pole. A drive mechanism within the body member is pivotally secured to each curved arm. A pulley is mounted on the body between the curved arms opposite the pole. First and second rope members secured to the drive mechanism operate the curved arms. Pulling the first rope through the pulley moves apart the exterior attached arms. Pulling the second rope through the hollow body moves together the exterior attached arms.

  • Patent number: 6615449
Abstract: A releasable locking assembly for a door control cylinder is disclosed. The assembly fits over the rod of the door control cylinder and includes a locking flange member maintained in a confined space within a pair of concentric closed end cup members. The locking flange member engages the rod to hold the door control cylinder in an extended position by gently pushing on the outer cup member and disengages the locking flange member by further opening the door, allowing the cylinder rod to retract in a controlled manner.
