  • Patent number: 5920203
Abstract: An improved complementary logic driven level shifter which typically improves switching speed over the prior art diode-type circuit, and allows for symmetrical delays for both high-to-low and low-to-high transitions, thus reducing settling times. The complementary CMOS and not-CMOS inputs to the level shifter are applied to the gates of a pair of P-channel FETs and also to the gates of a pair of N-channel FETs. The sources of the P-channel FETs are coupled to a current source. The drain of each P-channel FET is coupled to the drain of the N-channel FET to which its gate is coupled, and also to the anode of a diode. The cathodes of the two diodes, and the sources of the N-channel FETs are coupled together to the anode of a grounded cathode diode. The output SELECT is the common connection point of the drains of the FETs whose gates are coupled to not-CMOS, and the complementary not-SELECT output is the drains of the FETs whose gates are coupled to CMOS.

  • Patent number: 5806189
Abstract: A utility knife having replaceable blades is provided having a handle with an exterior surface and an interior. A slide member is slidingly mounted in the interior of the handle. A blade is removably mounted to the slide member such that, in a first position, the blade is contained completely within the handle and, in a second position, the blade extends partially out of the handle. A shell is hinged to the handle at the exterior surface. The shell includes a central cavity shaped to receive replacement blades. Further, a utility knife having replaceable blades is provided having a handle with a first casing and a second casing. A hinge member is mounted to the first bottom edge and the second bottom edge such that the first casing can be rotated with respect to the second casing from a closed position to an open position. A slide beam is slidingly mounted on the first casing. A blade is removably attached to the front end of the slide beam.

  • Patent number: 5746238
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus and method for diluting a chemical concentrate. More particularly, dilution control is achieved by monitoring two flow meters, comparing the flow rate information, and adjusting the diluent flow to achieve a predetermined dilution of the chemical concentrate. An air push is preferably used to deliver the chemicals to the utilization points. Also a controller is used to prioritize requests from the utilization points in a hierarchal fashion.

  • Patent number: 4492418
Abstract: A filing cabinet with a frame defining an enclosure and having two or more drawer openings; a door is hinged to the frame at the bottom of each opening, each door being swingable downward to reach a substantially horizontal position and swingable upward to reach a substantially vertical closed position; links are provided to connect the frame to the door to hold the door in the horizontal position; a drawer is provided at each opening and is mounted on rollers so that it may be rolled out of the enclosure onto the door in the opened position; the doors are locked in the vertical position when one of the doors is in the horizontal position.
