Abstract: An interchangeable feeder in the form of a dish container has a central ant trap with a surrounding moat. The moat has drain holes for excess fluid and surrounding the moat is a feed trough. A cover with a central aperture encloses the feed trough and a plurality of apertures through the wall of the cover allow access to the feed trough. In one form the cover has at least one tray like depression for the reception of fruit or other material that will attract an insect.

Abstract: A butterfly hibernation container is formed of six adjoining walls and is provided in the interior thereof with tree bark placed in the container to resemble a wood pile which forms natural interior crevices. An exterior crevice is provided by spacing a plaque from one of the walls to create a crevice, all crevices being familiar habitat for butterflies.

Abstract: A window bird feeder has a rectangular body with translucent rear and side walls and an open front. The structure is adapted to be fitted into a double-hung window with the body lying inside the dwelling. The structure is mounted on the window sill in a lateral position so that the front edges of the body do not interfere with the closing of the lower sash and to provide a perch for the birds, a perch is hinged to the front edge of the bottom wall of the structure, which perch can be swung into the structure and permit the window to be closed.
