  • Publication number: 20220057137
Abstract: A system and method of pre-purification of a feed gas stream is provided that is particularly suitable for pre-purification of a feed air stream in cryogenic air separation unit. The disclosed pre-purification systems and methods are configured to remove substantially all of the hydrogen, carbon monoxide, water, and carbon dioxide impurities from a feed air stream and is particularly suitable for use in a high purity or ultra-high purity nitrogen plant. The pre-purification systems and methods preferably employ two or more separate layers of hopcalite catalyst with the successive layers of the hopcalite separated by a zeolite adsorbent layer that removes water and carbon dioxide produced in the hopcalite layers. Alternatively, the pre-purification systems and methods employ a hopcalite catalyst layer and a noble metal catalyst layer separated by a zeolite adsorbent layer that removes water and carbon dioxide produced in the hopcalite layer.

  • Publication number: 20220026442
Abstract: The invention provides a method for controlling contaminants in biopharmaceutical purification processes by using light scattering and UV absorbance to establish a determinant. The invention makes use of multi-angle light scattering (MALS) and UV as a continuous monitoring system to provide information about the elution peak fractions in real-time instead of conventional pooling methods that rely on a predetermined percent UV peak max value to initiate the pooling process; regardless of product quality.

  • Publication number: 20210358061
Abstract: A server-client architecture including a host server and a client device. The client device executes a client application that communicably couples to the host server. The host server is configured to receive an input including information related to a particular asset, such as a real property. The host server is configured to access one or more third party databases to enumerate encumbrances upon a seller's title to the particular asset and, in response, generate a grading of a property based on, without limitation, the (1) number and (2) type of encumbrances identified by the third party databases. The grading is thereafter transmitted to the client device for display to a user of the client device.

  • Patent number: 11159831
Abstract: Techniques are described for expanding and/or improving the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 television protocol in robustly delivering the next generation broadcast television services. Broadcaster non-real time (NRT) data packets are downloaded into RAM memory first and then saved to disk once the complete NRT package is in RAM. Old saved NRT data is retained until channel change with new NRT data, at which point old NRT data may be deleted before starting to save the new oncoming NRT data. Old NRT data may be deleted only when the new oncoming NRT data is not the same as the old.

  • Patent number: 10921446
Abstract: Generally, a scanning device performs a sonic scan of a space by generating an ultrasonic impulse and measuring reflected signals as raw audio data. Sonic scan data including raw audio data and an associated scan location is forwarded to a sonic mapping service, which generates and distributes a 3D map of the space called a sonic map. When multiple devices contribute, the map is a collaborative sonic map. The sonic mapping service is advantageously available as distributed computing service, and can detect acoustic characteristics of the space and/or attribute visual/audio features to elements of a 3D model based on a corresponding detected acoustic characteristic. Various implementations that utilize a sonic map, detected acoustic characteristics, an impacted visual map, and/or an impacted 3D object include mixed reality communications, automatic calibration, relocalization, visualizing materials, rendering 3D geometry, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20210034590
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for use in database hosting and other systems, such as systems for real estate and other transactions with distributed clients. The methods and systems are directed to maintaining and updating core data to ensure all clients and users have correct data for the transactions. Core data is maintained and updated, in part, by use of append-only ledger systems that assigns a unique identifier to events (inputs) received from users. Such methods and system may be implemented by a cloud-based hosting service. The methods and systems may use an append-only ledger and support schema validation, subscriptions and event replay. The replay of events from the ledger may use a subscription and replay fanout tables.

  • Publication number: 20210035247
Abstract: An internet-based method is provided for preparation, review and negotiation, of contracts in an efficient and focused manner. More particularly, the method employs a computer application operable on any type of computing device by two or more parties and focuses their attention on the most important and most negotiated contract clauses. Several options and capabilities are provided, including the ability of parties to select desired contract clauses from a database, and designate which clauses are vitally important, as well as generally important and universally applicable (boilerplate) clauses. The computer application can then be instructed to share and display subsets of the contract clauses selected by all parties, such as only the vitally important clauses, or only clauses having edited variable content, for initial focused negotiation and settlement, before turning to review and negotiation of less important or less critical clauses.

  • Patent number: 10802278
Abstract: Technology is described for (3D) space carving of a user environment based on movement through the user environment of one or more users wearing a near-eye display (NED) system. One or more sensors of the NED system provide sensor data from which a distance and direction of movement can be determined. Spatial dimensions for a navigable path can be represented based on user height data and user width data of the one or more users who have traversed the path. Space carving data identifying carved out space can be stored in a 3D space carving model of the user environment. The navigable paths can also be related to position data in another kind of 3D mapping like a 3D surface reconstruction mesh model of the user environment generated from depth images.
