    Abstract: A multi-stage control system for inspection of a person includes at least one control device at a first location and at least a follow-up control device at a second location. The control device is configured to determine a follow-up control area of the person, store data defining the follow-up control area in a data set, generate a unique identification feature for the person based on a detected external feature of the person, and allocate the person to the data set. The follow-up control device comprises a display device for displaying a graphical representative of a person, and is configured to display a visually recognizable follow-up control area of the person for finding hidden objects in accordance with a data set allocated to the person. The follow-up control device can also be configured to generate the unique identification feature for the person based on a detected feature of the person.
