    Abstract: A high security lock employs a key plug rotatably mounted within a lock housing. Restraining means selectively prevents relative motion between the key plug and lock housing. The key plug is operatively linked to a latch operating bar. The latch operating bar controls the position of a securing latch. A bracing means prevents access to the latch operating bar.
