Abstract: A lifting device is disclosed. The lifting device includes a device body having a pair of grippers and a pair of lifting means. The pair of grippers grips opposite side edges of a flange of a supporting beam to allow the device body to be suspended from the supporting beam. Each of the lifting means is connected to a corresponding one of the grippers. The lifting means can lift a pipeline away from the supporting beam.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning bleeder valves is disclosed. The apparatus includes a rigid casing and a flexible casing rotatably connected to the rigid casing. The flexible casing is adapted to provide fluid-tight coupling of the flexible casing to a bleeder valve. Within the flexible casing, a flexible shaft is rotatably mounted and extended from one end of the flexible casing to a position outwardly of an opposite end of the flexible casing. Connected to the flexible shaft is a drill bit adapted for engagement to breakdown sediments. The drill bit includes a tip, a first and second flutes. The first and second flutes are extended longitudinally along the length of the drill bit, and are relatively straight. The first flute includes a first cutting edge, and the second flute includes a second cutting edge. Also connected to the rigid casing is a valve adapted for selective venting of an interior of the rigid casing.

Abstract: A pipe flange spreading tool is disclosed. The pipe flange spreading tool includes a pair of wedges and a retainer strap. Each of the wedges has a tapered end, and the tapered end is configured to be forced between two pipe flanges of a pipeline to separate the pipe flanges of the pipeline. The retainer strap connects the pair of wedges. The retainer strap is configured to be looped around the pipeline to retain the pair of wedges with respect to the pipeline during operation.
