    Abstract: A drawer slide includes a first slide channel telescopically mounted for longitudinal movement in a second slide channel. The first channel includes a cantilever spring latch which engages the second slide channel when the first slide channel is extended to a fully telescoped position associated with a fully open drawer supported by the first channel. The first slide channel further includes a longitudinally movable manual release lever, which is slidable to engage and release the spring latch and thus allow the first channel to be slidably translated into the second channel thereby allowing the attached drawer to be moved to the closed position. The first slide channel further includes a second cantilever spring latch that limits the opening movement of the first channel. Both spring members may be released by an auxiliary release lever.

A rod connects the upper actuator follower of one slide with the lower actuator follower of a slide directly above it. An actuator is connected to the front ends of the telescopic members of the slides. Alternatively, an actuator having pivoting or flexing fingers is connected to the front end of the intermediate members of each slide.

The mounting tab is inserted into an aperture in a vertical web of a drawer slide member and the horizontal flanges engage the slide member to securely attach the mounting bracket to the drawer slide member. The mounting tab is provided with a gusset to increase the strength of the mounting tab and to decrease the range of movement of the mounting tab in the aperture.

    Abstract: A self braking door slide mechanism particularly adapted for use with cabinets that have front doors that open upwardly and are retracted using the slide mechanism to a position in which the door is aligned with the top of the cabinet in either an over or under top position. A dampening cylinder extends between the top of the cabinet and the door to slow its downwardly hinging action when the door is being closed. Auxiliary brake pads are also provided on a stationary slide member which bear against the moving portion of the slide mechanism to slow the sliding action during closing due to the force of the dampening cylinder.

    Abstract: A locking assembly for a plurality of vertically aligned drawers in a housing that includes a locking member associated with at least each of the drawers and wherein the locking member is arranged for reciprocal vertical movement relative to the housing. A slide mechanism is associated with each of the drawers with each of the slide mechanisms being aligned perpendicular to the locking mechanism and being arranged for reciprocal horizontal extension to move the drawers between closed and opened positions with respect to the housing. Each of the slide mechanisms for at least each of the drawers other than the uppermost drawer includes a ramp section that is structured and dimensioned to engage the locking member when at least any one of the drawers other than the uppermost drawer is opened such that the remaining drawers are locked in a closed position.
