Abstract: Disclosed is a new type of clearing solution. In one embodiment, the disclosed clearing solution is a chlorobutanol in a base solution; wherein the base solution is a concentrated solution of lactic acid in water with a range of concentrations between eighty and ninety-two percent (80-92%). Suitably, the clearing solution is made in three steps. First, a base solution with a concentration of eighty to ninety-two percent (80-92%) of lactic acid in water is prepared. Second, the base solution is located at twenty degrees centigrade (20° C.). Finally, three percent (3%) by weight of chlorobutanol is dissolved in the lactic acid and water base solution.
