Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an environment control system for controlling environmental conditions in a building. The environment control system comprises a plurality of sensors located in different areas of the building. Each sensor is used for determining a measured value for one of the environmental conditions in the area where the sensor is located. Further at least one of the plurality of sensors is configured for exchanging data with at least one mobile computing device for modifying a target value of one of the environmental conditions for the area where the sensor is located. The environment control system further comprises an environment controller for receiving the measured values and the modified target values from the plurality of sensors.

Abstract: An underdrain filter or strainer for use with power generation and ion exchange facilities, such as, but not limited to, deep bed demineralizers used in nuclear power plants deep bed ion exchangers. The filter is fabricated from a sintered, stainless steel mesh or wire-cloth filter media having a pore structure with pore size ranging approximately from one micron to two hundred microns. The filter media is composed of a plurality of filter media layers including a perforated inner core bonded to at least one drainage wire mesh, a filtration wire mesh, and a protective wire mesh forming an outer diameter, the layers being diffusion bonded to form a single monolithic laminate.

Abstract: A support band having at least one band segment, a first connection end and a second connection end. The first and second connection end(s) each having a mounting surface with a wedge end, a wedge surface extending from the wedge end forming an acute angle with respect to the mounting surface, and a stand-off surface between the mounting surface and proximate a distal end of the wedge surface. The first and second connection end mounting surface(s) coupled to the at least one band segment. The support band having mounting means for mounting on and or within a structure via compression and or expansion.
