Abstract: An apparatus is provided that allows individuals of diverse skill levels to improve their respective sports-related swings. The apparatus provides visual, auditory and tactile feedback as to whether an individual is correctly “loading”, “retaining”, and “releasing” the inherent power of the training apparatus. The training apparatus enables an individual to fine tune his/her swing to maximize power delivery, e.g., in driving a golf ball, striking a hockey puck, or hitting a baseball. A slidable member is provided that moves along a shaft between an upper member and a lower member. A retaining mechanism restrains the slidable member in a cocked position, i.e., in juxtaposition with the upper member, until a predetermined force is created through swinging of the shaft.

Abstract: Universal mounting products and systems are provided that may be advantageously mounted with respect to an item, e.g., a package, container and/or product, and once mounted to such item, may be used to position the item in a desirable manner for subsequent use and/or access. The present systems advantageously include complementary mounting structures that are configured and dimensioned to interact therewith in positioning the item for subsequent use and/or access. In exemplary embodiments, the mounting system includes a hook member, an adhesive mounting member and an extension hook. The hook member is generally designed to interact with a mounting track that may be adhered to a desired structure, e.g., a wall, cabinet, door or the like.

Abstract: A cane tip has a body having an upper portion and a lower portion provided with a preferably concave traction surface. The lower portion tapers toward the upper portion and includes three preferably narrow, substantially planar regions sloping down toward the traction surface interposed by three preferably arcuate, web-like regions which together form a generally compact triangular footprint having truncated corners and arcuate sides. The body includes a bore which enters through the upper portion of the body and terminates above the traction surface and which receives and holds the lower end of the cane. The bore preferably includes a plurality of circumferential ribs which assist in securing the end of the cane. The traction surface preferably includes a circular central region and a plurality of structural branches radiating from the central region.
