Abstract: The subject application is directed to a system and method for selectively disabling document rendering. An electronic document is first generated having a customized operator. The generated electronic document is then communicated to an associated document rendering device. The generated electronic document is received by the associated document rendering device and the customized operator is parsed and executed so as to secure identification data representing an identity of the documents rendering device. The identification data is then tested. An output of a document rendering operation is then controlled in accordance with an output of testing of the identification data.

Abstract: The subject application is directed to a system and method for manipulation of document data intercepted through port redirection. Electronic documents targeted to a virtual port are first received from at least one application, with the virtual port being associated with the at least one application. Each of the electronic documents received in the virtual port are then stored and a display representing document images associated with each stored electronic document is then generated. Assembly instructions are received relative to an aggregate output document selected from the document imaged according to the generated display. A single output job is then output to at least one document rendering device comprising at least a portion of the stored output data.

A virtual port receives targeted output data from each of a plurality of applications, which are associated with the virtual port. The output data is then stored in associated memory. Document images are then generated on an associated display corresponding to the stored output data. User instructions corresponding to the manipulation of the output data is then received via the associated display from the user. A single output job is then communicated to an associated document rendering device consisting of at least a portion of the stored output data.

Output data is first received from at least one application via a virtual port and stored into an associated storage. Display data is generated on an associated display representing an electronic document of the output data, as well as document processor display data representing available document output devices. Selection data is then received corresponding to document output devices selected by an associated user. Copy count data representing a number of copies to be output on each selected document output device is then received for each document output device. Output data is then output from the data storage to each selected document output device such that each selected document output device outputs a number of copies corresponding to copy count data associated therewith.
