  • Patent number: 9119289
Abstract: An interdigitated electrode film co-extruded with bus bars for thin film electronics or other devices. First electrode layers are located between first and second major surfaces of the film with a first bus bar electrically connecting and integrated with the first electrode layers. Second electrode layers are located between the first and second major surfaces with a second bus bar electrically connecting and integrated with the second electrode layers. The first electrode layers are interdigitated with the second electrode layers, and insulating layers electrically isolate the first bus bar and electrode layers from the second bus bar and electrode layers. The electrode films include multilayer films with vertical bus bars and multilane films with horizontal bus bars.

Date of Patent: August 25, 2015
    Assignee: 3M INNOVATIVE PROPERTIES COMPANY
Inventors: Tommie W. Kelley, Martin B. Wolk, Terence D. Neavin, Stephen A. Johnson, Arthur L. Fry, Audrey A. Sherman

  • Patent number: 5628846
Abstract: A self-forming self-adhering pull bow having a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on facing sides of the drawstrings. After the bow is formed, the drawstrings are separated to enable the pressure sensitive adhesive coated sides of the drawstrings to be applied to the object to adhere the bow to the object.

  • Patent number: 5456743
Abstract: An ink composition for use in printing sheets including a binder, a wet print bleed control additive and a colorant. The composition may also contain a surfactant, an opacifier as well as a preservative. The ink composition may be used as a film or applied to a printing sheet backing to provide a printing sheet for making prints. Also, printing plates, having pieces of varying colored printing sheets are disclosed for creating multi-colored prints. Also disclosed is a process for making such printing sheets and a process for making a print with such printing sheets. These compositions are non-toxic and multi-colored prints can be easily made by a child using the disclosed printing sheets and plates.

  • Patent number: 5194299
Abstract: Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet material having the ability to be applied to paper and removed therefrom without lifting fibers or delaminating the paper. The otherwise conventional pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to the backing by spraying, resulting in a non-repetitive pattern of adhesive islands.

  • Patent number: 4980927
Abstract: Disposable adherent collars based on low cost supple sheets carrying a low-adherency pressure sensitive adhesive are disclosed. The adherent collars of the present invention are significantly more comfortable to wear than prior art adherent collars due to the suppleness of the sheet used in the collars, and to the low-adherency character of the PSA, achieved preferably through the use of a discontinuous layer of PSA material. Because of the suppleness of the sheet the low-adherency adhesive is effective to hold the sheet in place.
