  • Publication number: 20100248183
Abstract: Disclosed is a denture shield to prevent denture adhesive from coming in contact with the user's gums and/or oral mucosa including the palate. This shield has two important advantages, the first is the elimination of the hard and messy cleanup of the residue from the user's mouth and the second is the reduction of the adhesive chemicals into the user's system.

  • Publication number: 20080041644
Abstract: A battery powered, electric motorized cart and burden carrier which may be manually pushed or pulled to a shopping area for use during shopping and for transporting merchandise thereafter. Battery powered motors and gearing associated with the rear driving wheels are controlled from a control box on a lanyard attached to the cart so that the loaded cart may be either operated and controlled by an individual walking in front or the rear thereof. Steering is effected through the swivelly mounted front wheels by the operating exerting a tug on the lanyard or applying forward pressure to the rear of the cart when the control box is arranged and supported thereat. Battery charging may be accomplished by actuating a control box switch to close the circuit to the battery and manually pushing the cart to rotate the motor shafts and cycle the amperage back into the battery. Another way is to utilize an alternating current charging adapter.

  • Patent number: 6024649
Abstract: This present invention relates to the game of pool. It is a device to rack pool balls with consistent accuracy. Throughout the history of pool-billiards, balls were racked by using a triangular or quadrilateral (9 ball) shaped rack in which the racker would place the balls within the rack and roll the rack of balls to a designated spot then lift and remove the rack to accomplish the task. In doing so, rackers would have to rely on their eyesight or judgement for a perfect alignment. This was indeed difficult to achieve because when the rack of balls were rolled over to the designated spot, the racker could not see the designated spot because the lead ball was covering the designated spot so the racker had to approximate the stop of the balls. It could be a little too forward or a little too backward. In the same motion of doing the racking, the racker might turn the rack a few degrees to the left or to the right thus giving an inaccurate alignment in a different plane.

  • Patent number: 4991634
Abstract: A replacement assembly for an oil filler cap for motor vehicles. The assembly includes a spring tensioned lid and a cylindrical tube having a downwardly taped lower portion surrounded by washer means and a pair of holes on diametrically opposite sides of the inwardly tapered lower portion of the tube. The cutter blade has an upwardly extended pointed end in spaced relationship to the inner wall of the tube and has a pair of downwardly extending, diametrically opposite flexible strips, each having an ear terminating with a semi-circular flat portion projecting outwardly through the holes for supporting the washer means.

  • Patent number: 4739892
Abstract: A container cap assembly for containers holding motor oil, anti-freeze or other liquids to be poured into receptacles, in the engine assembly. An air-tight seal is adhesively attached to close the opening of the container with a string attached to the top of the seal. After the container is tilted for pouring the other end of the string is pulled to allow the liquid to pour out of the container. Such other end may be attached to the screw cap of the container to facilitate pulling and breaking the seal.

  • Patent number: 4720920
Abstract: A device that may be of different shapes and sizes to function as a level that emits an audio and visual signal when the device is level or parallel with gravity. It will also emit the same signals when the level is put in a vertical position and the device is plumb in one dimension; while at the same time will emit a different audio and visual signal when the level is moved and the bubble or amalgam will flow to the center of the other glass tube thus indicating that the other plane is level. In essence, both sets of signals will activate when the level is in true vertical position. The audio and visual signals are activated by D.C. current supplied by a dry cell battery. The liquid leveling agent is a drop of amalgam enclosed in a glass tube that is embedded in the body of the level.

  • Patent number: 4461476
Abstract: A generally rectangular billiard table with a circular hole slightly larger than a billiard ball at the exact center and through the bed of the table. The physical cut-out of the hole is utilized as a plug for the center hole when needed and is covered with the same material as that of the bed and rails. The other 6 holes and the center hole are provided with sliding horizontal trap doors located at the underside of the bed. These additions and other innovations provide many games of amusement and skill of billiards, golf and the like. With the installation or removal of some accessory equipment, this table converts into a pocket, carom, bumper and golf billiard table.

  • Patent number: 4337605
Abstract: A generally rectangular concrete building block of partially hollow construction with at least one large rectangular vertical opening extending therethrough and provided with a generally zig-zag shaped rod embedded in the interior walls and extending transversely of and formed with a transverse loop in the center of each hollow interior. In erecting a wall, a concrete footing is first poured and a plastic sheet having a row of prepunched openings is flatly arranged thereon with the openings so spaced to indicate the positions to be assumed by a series of reinforcing bars when inserted therethrough and embedded within the footing to project vertically therethrough in a row alignable with the hollow blocks.
