Abstract: A system, method, and desktop mobile information provider for unifying mobile devices with provisioned endpoints. In one illustrative embodiment, a user's mobile device can receive a mobile event. The mobile device can then transmit the mobile event to either a private branch exchange directly or through a unified communications server. The mobile event can then be displayed to the user's private branch exchange provisioned endpoint, and in one embodiment, the provisioned endpoint being a private branch exchange desk phone. The mobile event can be displayed to the provisioned endpoint using text, light emitting diodes for message waiting indicators, audible tones, or graphics if the desk phone supports it. The provisioned endpoint can provide a response mechanism when a mobile event is received. Often, the mobile event can be a live call whereby the user at their provisioned endpoint can respond to the call without the use of the mobile device.

Abstract: A collaboration handoff method for seamlessly passing a communication session between devices includes connecting a first device and a second device to enable communication between the first and second devices using an intermediary device to initiate a communication session. A request may be received from one of the first device and a third device to switch to the third device for communication with the second device. Communication session data for the first device may be identified at the intermediary device. The third device may be connected with the second device within the communication session and the communication session data may be transmitted to the third device.

Abstract: A network call center system has a Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) device coupled to a communication network for managing incoming and outgoing calls. The UCC device connects a first user with a second user. The UCC device generates a screen on a communication device of the second user wherein the screen having a chat window to display communication between the first user and the second user. The screen further has a first function icon which when selected allows a third user to see the chat window and the communication between the first user and the second user.

Abstract: The software site licensing system includes a client site having a target unit and a license sales site for generating a corresponding site license. The sales site receives an order for a target unit from the client and sends the physical order to a warehouse for shipping. The sales site determines the intangible portion of the order and establishes a virtual warehouse for the client to inventory the intangibles (license components). The warehouse notifies the sales site of the unique identifiers on the target prior to shipping so the sales site can link the en-route target with the client. The client accesses its personal virtual warehouse and selects the license components desired for the site license. The system assembles the site license and upon request, transmits the site license from the virtual warehouse to the target unit for installation.

Abstract: A system and method for scheduling a future collaborative communication session using a collaborative communication application are disclosed. The system and method allow one or more participants of a collaborative communication session to schedule a future communication session directly from a collaborative communication application. A calendar application, such as an enterprise calendar system, may be integrated with the communication application, such that future meetings can easily be scheduled using the communication application.
