  • Patent number: 11596874
Abstract: A water production system with a thermal separation device that defines a cold region and a hot region, a fluid-air heat exchanger located remotely from the thermal separation device and exposed to air, and a fluid circulation loop that thermally connects the cold region of the thermal separation device to the fluid-air heat exchanger so as to cool the fluid-air heat exchanger and condense water from ambient air to produce water pure enough so that with further treatment it can be made potable. Also disclosed are filtration and dispensing features that are appropriate for a potable water supply.

  • Patent number: 10895292
Abstract: The invention relates to a disc brake comprising a brake caliper (1) which covers a brake disc and brake pads (3) arranged on both sides of the brake disc in a pad shaft (6), each brake pad being assembled from a friction lining (4) and a rear plate (5), the front face of which is designed as a securing surface (16) for the friction lining (4) and the rear face of which is designed as a pressure surface for transmitting the braking pressure. A hold-down device (7) which runs transversely over the brake pads (3) is supported against the brake pads (3) in the direction of the disc brake axis (A). The hold-down device (7) is made from an elongated base (7C) in the form of a channel over the majority of the total length of the hold-down device, wherein a spring (9) rests against said base, and from lateral flanks (8A, 8B) arranged on the sides of the base (7C).

  • Patent number: 10890224
Abstract: A disc brake is proposed having a brake calliper (1) which reaches over a brake disc (2) and brake linings (3) which are arranged on the two sides thereof and are composed in each case of a friction lining (4) and a rear plate (5), and having a hold-down (7) which runs transversely over the brake linings (3) and is supported against the brake linings towards the disc brake axis (A). The circumferential contour of the rear plate (5) of at least one of the brake linings is defined by an upper edge (21), a lower edge (22) and two side edges (23A, 23B) which extend between the upper and the lower edge. The circumferential contour of the friction lining (4) is also defined by an upper edge (31), a lower edge and two side edges which extend between the upper and the lower edge.

  • Patent number: 8967646
Abstract: An axle suspension for a vehicle axle guided by a trailing arm and also, furthermore, an axle lift for a vehicle axle are proposed. The axle lift includes a force element (11), a pressure transmission means (18, 20) which is movable towards an axle link (5) of the vehicle axle by actuation of the force element, and a bracket (12). The bracket (12) is provided with a supporting means (10) for the force element (11) and the pressure reaction forces acting on the latter and, in addition, for the fastening to a support (2) is provided with a bracket part (31), on which a plug-in or hook connection (36A) for engagement in the support (2) is formed. With the aim of being able to fit the bracket (12) in a fixed basic setting on the support (2) with just a few actions, it is proposed that the bracket part (31), at a distance from the plug-in or hook connection (36A) thereof, is provided with at least one further connecting means (33), which is designed for engagement in the support (2).
