  • Publication number: 20210131760
Abstract: The invention relates to firearm handles and exhibits a novel type of modification of the handle geometry. Due to the different and diverse size variations of the human hand, adapting the handle geometry to the respective operator is desirable. In known solutions for modifying the handle geometry, attachment parts which differ in size are attached to the handle. By means of this attachment process, the handle geometry can be modified with a range of attachment parts of different sizes. This solution is disadvantageous in that a respective attachment part must be attached for each desired modification of the geometry. In other known solutions, an adjustment device is integrated into the main part of the handle, said adjustment device allowing a modification of the handle geometry. This solution is disadvantageous in that the integrated adjustment device is costly, and a gap is formed between the handle main part and the adjustment part, which can change positions, upon adjusting the adjustment device.

  • Patent number: 9706827
Abstract: An epilating device removes hair from a user by pinching, pulling and releasing the hairs. The epilating device has a tweezer portion having an axis and being mounted to rotate about its axis during use, the tweezer portion defining at least one pinching region at its circumference in which hairs may be grasped by tweezer elements. The tweezer portion is mounted in cantilevered fashion by its first end to an attachment portion of a handle. The cantilever arrangement of the tweezer portion allows better access to the tweezer elements, in particular for epilating in areas that may otherwise be difficult to reach.

  • Patent number: 9655428
Abstract: An epilating device (1) has a housing (2) defining a handle (4) and first and second shoulder portions (6, 8) forming an open jaw (10). A tweezer portion (12) is mounted in the jaw (10) for rotation about its axis such that an opening (20) is formed through the device (1) from a front side (22) of the housing (2) to a rear side (24) of the housing (2), the opening (20) being bounded by the handle (4), the shoulder portions (6,8) and the tweezer portion (12). A drive mechanism (36) located within the housing (2) is arranged to apply rotational motion to rotate the tweezer portion (12) about the axis. By providing an opening (20) through the housing (2) of the epilator (1) from the front (22) to the rear side (24), collection of hair and debris beneath the tweezer portion (12) is avoided.
