The method comprises: providing shared information to at least one participant of a web conference; determining a screen rendering status of the shared information in a web browser of each participant of the web conference; obtaining the screen rendering status of the shared information from each participant; and displaying information regarding the screen rendering status of the shared information to a moderator of the web conference.

Abstract: A system, apparatus and method for transforming Java Server Pages (JSPs) into pervasive computing (PvC) device specific JSPs. An original JSP is parsed for JSP tags. The JSP tags are converted to HyperText Mark-up Language (HTML) comment tags. The JSP is then transformed into a PvC device specific JSP by converting the HTML tags in the JSP to HTML tags for a specific PvC device. The HTML comment tags are then parsed for the comment tags having embedded JSP tags. The JSP tags are then restored by removing the HTML comment tag identifiers. A PvC device specific JSP is thus created.

Abstract: A simulated collaborative mix workload for determining the performance of enterprise software includes a combination of mail, instant messaging, electronic meetings, documents, and electronic learning. The workload is generated by executing a team spaces path, documents path, learning path, messaging path, web conference path, or various combinations thereof. The team spaces path generates a simulated discussion with team members and generates a search query for locating a forum within the team space. The documents path generates a library search to locate, open, and read the document, and generates a simulated chat about the document. The learning path launches a simulated course and assessment activity. The messaging path reads a simulated email, attaches a document thereto, and sends the email. The web conference path generates a web conference attended by a plurality of simulated users. At least one of the workload tasks is performed more than once.

Abstract: Social networking content can be served to a set of social networking users. The served social networking content can include semantic content associated with specific ones of the social networking users. The semantic content can be shared among different ones of the social networking users during the serving. At least a portion of the semantic content can be stored within a local data store associated with a computing device of the specific user to whom the semantic content applies.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product for authenticating a pharmaceutical product is provided. The method includes receiving an identifier and a quantity for the pharmaceutical product and receiving a photonic signal from the pharmaceutical product, wherein the photonic signal includes a frequency and amplitude. The method can further include searching for the identifier and quantity that was received in a predefined list comprising identifier-quantity pairs, wherein a frequency and amplitude corresponds to each identifier-quantity pair. The method can further include matching the identifier and quantity that was received to a first identifier-quantity pair in the list. The method can further include storing a record indicating that the pharmaceutical product is counterfeit if the frequency and amplitude of the photonic signal does not match the frequency and amplitude corresponding to the first identifier-quantity pair.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to the visual display of tags and provide a method, system and computer program product for contributor characteristic based tag clouds. In an embodiment of the invention, a tag cloud generation method can include loading tags for resources in a social bookmarking system, determining a personal characteristic for each of the end users applying the tags to the resources, and rendering a tag cloud for the tags based upon the personal characteristic of the end users and not based upon the frequency of use of the tags alone.

Abstract: A system for managing chat histories of online discussions includes a computer terminal including software. The software, when executed, causes the system to generate a transcript of an electronic discussion between at least two participants, and selectively save the transcript on the computer terminal of one of the participants. The computer terminal of the participant upon which the transcript is saved establishes a local computer terminal and the computer terminal of the other participant establishes a remote computer terminal. The system then prompts the participant saving the transcript to provide a tag. The tag is designated as either a public tag or a private tag. The public tag is associated with the local computer terminal and the remote computer terminal while the private tag is associated with only the local computer terminal. The software, when executed, then causes the system to incorporate the tag into the transcript.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for detecting an explosive mixture. A potentially hazardous material is embedded with molecules where these molecules are used for identifying individual cells. Upon scanning the potentially hazardous material, the embedded molecules give off light or sonar signatures as output. The output of these molecules is read by a reader which is used to identify the type of material as well as the amount of the material. This information is stored and correlated with the passenger carrying the identified material and the passenger's flight information. A security alert is generated if there is a combination of amounts of potentially hazardous materials previously identified with the amount of potentially hazardous material currently identified that together would be classified as an explosive device where these potentially hazardous materials are to be carried by individual(s) on the same flight(s).

Abstract: A Portal Page Customizer (PPC) provides a tagging component and a portal page generator that enables a user to quickly display portlets most preferred by a community of portlet users. Each tag is associated with one or more portlet. A user can add new descriptive tags to portlets using tools on the portal page. When a user selects a tag from a tag cloud, the PPC displays portlets associated with the selected tag.

Abstract: A method of managing chat history on online discussions includes generating a transcript of an electronic discussion between at least two participants and selectively saving the transcript on a computer terminal of one of the at least two participants. In one embodiment of the invention, a method for emotional state message integration can be provided. The method can include receiving a message from a message composer and detecting meta-data associated with the message. The method further can include retrieving emotional state information from the meta-data and rendering the message. Finally, the method can include processing the emotional state information in association with the rendering of the message.

Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products are provided for using fully qualified universal resource locators (URLs) to chain together servlets across multiple remotely located Java® Virtual Machines (JVMs) in a network in order to implement application partitioning across the network. Each servlet in a chain is configured to perform a respective processing task using a response from a preceding servlet in the chain. A fully qualified URL includes an identification of a host computer, an identification of a filter within the host computer, and an identification of a servlet residing within the host computer.
