  • Patent number: 9096383
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses relating to improved conveying systems, and in particular to providing locomotion preferably using a surface mounted drive mechanism for driving a drive chain are provided. Generally, the conveying system of the present invention is designed to adapt to most manufacturing needs, for example, from furniture manufacturing and finishing to marine and automotive engines. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a conveying system, comprising: at least one load carrying unit having a tow pin assembly, the tow pin assembly further comprising a tow pin configured to link to and delink from a conveyor tow chain, and the tow pin configured to engage and disengage from the conveyor tow chain; a conveyor track configured to house the conveyor tow chain; and a drive assembly configured to receive the tow chain and to provide locomotion to the conveyor tow chain, and further comprising at least one tensioner for tensioning the conveyor tow chain.

  • Publication number: 20050190899
Abstract: An on-hold message-playing device is connected to a business telephone system to play music and voice content, which is stored in memory and played back to callers who are placed on “hold”. Voice elements are written by the provider company in collaboration with the customer, recorded and edited in the provider's production studio, and saved to the provider's electronic storage media. Customers are then able to access the provider interface via the Internet, select from the individual voice elements and available music tracks, and produce messages played from the device's audio output connected to the customer's telephone system. Depending on its configuration, the playback device receives these new productions either by a connection to the Internet, or to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). In the Internet-connected configuration the playback device periodically establishes a connection to the provider's server via the Internet and polls for any waiting message intended for that specific device.

  • Patent number: 6098576
Abstract: An enhanced split cooling system for a turbocharger and an engine includes an oil cooler, a three-way valve assembly and a four-way valve assembly for controlling the flow of coolant, and radiators and subcoolers, for controlling coolant temperature. The valve assemblies are independently controllable to direct coolant through an oil cooler and a turbocharger intercooler either directly from the engine if the oil cooler and intercooler require heating or from the radiators and subcoolers if the oil cooler and intercooler require cooling. Depending upon the engine operating temperature, the valve assemblies can be configured to establish at least three different coolant processing modes.
